Why should we accept you for that position?: In my tenure within the LSPD, I was a SWAT Officer for roughly 9 months and a Senior for about 4 months to which I have recently resigned as of 11/APR/2023. In these positions I constantly controlled scenes and situations that were a matter of life and death. I am fine tuned in hostage/general negotiations, supervising lower rankings, and creating some policies in the training division for LSPD which I was the Officer-In-Charge. I believe my knowledge and experience is quite valuable and I believe that the position of Senior Correctional Officer will be a good starting point to show how I perform my duties and work ethic.
After my departure from LSPD, I have a lot more free time which I am wanting to spend. My brother Randy works here and he's told me a lot of good things about the work environment and I would like to come in and help where I can either with my personal experience or enthusiasm.
