LSPD Recovers Cache of Weapons and Narcotics in Auctioned House
-- -
On March 21, an off-duty LSPD Officer reported the discovery of a large cache of weapons, narcotics, and illegal weapon modifications inside a recently purchased house in the Los Santos area. The house had been acquired at an auction, and during an inspection of the property, the off-duty officer discovered several of wall safes containing illegal weapons. Upon the discovery, the Officer contacted LSPD dispatchers through the 911 emergency line. A team of investigators was dispatched to conduct a thorough search of the residence and exterior.
Additional safes, crates, and boxes containing weapons, narcotics, ammunition, and illegal weapon modifications were subsequently uncovered and seized from the property.
The LSPD estimates that the total value of the seized items is approximately $2,000,000. At this time, an investigation is ongoing to determine whether this cache is connected to a larger criminal organization, or belongs to an individual or single entity. At this time, no further information has been approved for release by the Officers involved in the investigation.
The Los Santos Police Department reminds the public that if they encounter illegal weapons, modifications, or narcotics, they must call 911 immediately, and refrain from touching any items until officers arrive to secure the scene and collect evidence.
