Paralegals are professionals trained to assist lawyers in various legal capacities. Paralegal duties entail more responsibility than clerical tasks, and fall into a broad range of substantive legal work. Paralegals conduct factual and legal research, draft legal documents, work with clients, and manage cases. Paralegals are involved in challenging and exciting assignments that would otherwise be performed by lawyers, but paralegals may not provide legal services directly to the public unless permitted by the San Andreas Bar Association.

- Searching and checking public records
- Interviewing clients, witnesses and others
- Collecting, retrieving, and analyzing information
- Preparing legal documents and arguments
- Summarizing depositions and other documents
- Preparing briefs and pleadings
- Drafting discovery documents
- Managing and organizing cases
- Assisting attorneys with trial and its preparation
- Preparing legal reports for attorneys.
The San Andreas Judicial Branch is looking for motivated individuals with a passion for the legal profession. Paralegals assist with a wide range of duties under licensed professionals and must be able to process paperwork with exceptional care and respond to inquiries in a timely manner. Requirements to become a Paralegal include;
- 21 years of age at the time of hire.
- Must be a legal citizen residing in San Andreas.
- Must not be affiliated with any criminal groups, in or outside of San Andreas.
- Must be in good standing with the state meaning no outstanding tickets or criminal charges.
- The Judicial Branch reserves the right to deny anyone for excessive citations and/or any amount of misdemeanors committed within the past 2 weeks.
- Must be clean of felonies for 3 months. We only accept previous felons who have successfully completed the Felon Reformation Program. See below for further specifications.
- Must not be currently employed by any Law Enforcement Agencies or is willing to resign upon successful hire.
- Must not be currently employed by the San Andreas Executive or Legislative Branch or is willing to resign upon successful hire.
- Must not be currently employed by any News Networks or is willing to resign upon successful hire.
- Must hold a valid driver's license with the State of San Andreas.
- Extensive knowledge of the Penal Code is a plus but not required
Information on FRP applicants
Once you have reached you second week in the program, you will be allowed to apply to join the branch. You will go through the normal process of training however you will remain a Law Student until you pass the five week program.
If you wish is to join the Prosecution division, the office of the Attorney General follows the same hiring guidelines of the LSPD and LSSD. Those that have felonies are not allowed to join the division regardless of their completion of the Felon Reformation Program. We apologize for the inconvienence.
You will be required to send a letter or recommendation from a member of the FRD team in order for us to accept your application. Once you have applied, please have those sent to both the Director of Training & Hiring and the Chief Justice
There are multiple felonies that will default the application status as DENIED regardless of completing the Felon Reformation Program.

- (( Applicants must be able to speak the English language fluently and be proficient with English grammar and spelling. ))
- (( You must be able to spend at least three (3) hours weekly at a minimum to your Judicial Branch character. ))
- (( Note that our Faction has Zero Tolerance Policy for OOC Corruption. Any kind of OOC Corruption is subject to immediate removal from the Faction. ))
