Why should we accept you for that position?:
During my time at the department, I have led and drastically improved two of the department's divisions. CFT and Groundskeeping have undoubtedly improved since I joined the department back in December of 2021. Thanks to the advice of my higher-ups, I was able to rework our promotion qualifications and revive a "dead" division. By doing so I believe I've shown myself capable of receiving criticism and leading others.
Furthermore, I am fairly capable of carrying out work in divisions as well. I helped add felon applications to the department, attended/led over 50 academies, partook in nearly 100 different training sessions, and tackled a number of IA cases. This hard work originally led to my promotion to Captain and allowed me to gain the respect of my peers (for which I am very grateful). It has been a little over a month since I left, and though it may feel like it has been ages since I clocked on, I still retain all of my knowledge of department procedures. With a week as a trainee, I believe I can catch up on what I missed and meet some of the department's new recruits. From there I can easily transition back into my former role.
Why did your employment with the San Andreas Department of Corrections end?
I felt I had met my goals at the time and that I fulfilled my role in the department. I had my division exactly as I wanted it, I had reached the position of command, and I served for a reasonable amount of time. I had gone above the call of duty and wanted some time to rest and reflect.
Have you had any felony charges against you in the time that you were gone?
I have kept a clean record since my resignation notice.
What have you done since your resignation or termination?
I took the opportunity to spend more time with my friends. I took a long-needed vacation and I feel more ready than ever to return.
