All citizens that wish to pursue a career in the legal profession must first acquire a bar license through the San Andreas State Bar Association. Citizens wishing to practice by being employed by the San Andreas Judicial Branch have the privilege of getting on the job training by the branch and taking their bar examination free of charge. Once members of the branch pass their examination they will become a junior attorney within the branch and choose whether to join the prosecution division or public defense and begin their career.
Attorneys who obtain their bar license before deciding on a career with the San Andreas Judicial Branch will have the ability to skip the law student position and start their career as a junior attorney in one of the two divisions listed above.

Upon accepting an employment offer from the San Andreas Judicial Branch you will go through an orientation where you will be given a full tour of City Hall, shown the branches fleet of vehicles, and given other general information pertinent to your employment with the branch. Throughout the first week of your employment you will go through three phases of training teaching you about the court, representation and the docket, and court proceedings. These phases will give you all the necessary information to have a successful career as an attorney.
Once you have gone through all three phases of training you will be emailed the 50 question bar examination, this examination will be a cumulative test of everything you have learned during your week of training, to pass you must score a 70% or higher. Upon passing the examination you will be issued your bar license.

- Reading the Employee Handbook.
- Reading the Code of Ethics.
- Working the front desk.
- Assisting attorneys with case planning.
- Researching cases.
- Analyzing legal documents.
- Preparing legal reports for attorneys.
The San Andreas Judicial Branch is looking for motivated individuals with a passion for the legal profession. Law Students are the backbone of the Judicial Branch and assist with a wide range of duties under licensed professionals. Law Students must be able to process paperwork with exceptional care and respond to inquiries in a timely manner. Requirements to become employed by the branch include;
- 21 years of age at the time of hire.
- Must be a legal citizen residing in San Andreas.
- Must not be affiliated with any criminal groups, in or outside of San Andreas.
- Must be in good standing with the state meaning no outstanding tickets or criminal charges.
- The Judicial Branch reserves the right to deny anyone for excessive citations and/or any amount of misdemeanors committed within the past 2 weeks.
- Must be clean of felonies for 3 months. We only accept previous felons who have successfully completed the Felon Reformation Program. See below for further specifications.
- Must not be currently employed by any Law Enforcement Agencies or is willing to resign upon successful hire.
- Must not be currently employed by the San Andreas Executive or Legislative Branch or is willing to resign upon successful hire.
- Must not be currently employed by any News Networks or is willing to resign upon successful hire.
- Must hold a valid driver's license with the State of San Andreas.
- Extensive knowledge of the Penal Code is a plus but not required

Those that have felonies are not allowed to join the division regardless of their completion of the Felon Reformation Program. We apologize for the inconvienence.
