X - Running a Law Firm
  1. An attorney shall strive to keep his or her firm and the working style worthy of the reputation of the legal profession as an autonomous and independent service.
  2. An attorney shall maintain an orderly and timely record of all cases, develop a storage system and accurate files of all dates and hearings, so that both the attorney is always able to check the files for any data on a particular case. An attorney shall always, in accordance with the Bar Association and without delay, be able to provide legal profession bodies with necessary information about his or her work.
  3. An attorney shall be responsible for the work of his or her law firm.
  4. An attorney shall be particularly conscientious and punctual in his or her financial operations. An attorney is not allowed to commingle a client's money with his or her own and must always be in a position to pay out such money.
  5. An attorney shall not be allowed to keep money received for the client longer than necessary.
  6. An attorney shall fulfill all the obligations towards his or her employees in accordance with the law, the Bar Association and the Employment Contract.
  7. An attorney shall not be allowed to give broad legal advice. Legal advice must be tailored to the specific needs of the client they are representing. This is including but not limited to; news advertisements, newspaper articles, and media recordings.
