3. GENERAL QUESTIONS
- 3.1 What interested you in applying for a position in the Special Security Bureau?:
What interested me in applying is my passion for this line of job and my desire to grow my career in this field where I could put my skills and experience to good use. I wish to apply my skills and knowledge to ensure the safety of our Government officials when they are performing their duties and responsibilities to make life better for every citizen of Los Santos.
3.2 What experience (work/life) do you have that could be valuable to the Special Security Bureau and its purpose? (100 words minimum):
First of all, I believe I have the necessary skillset required to perform the duties of a Security Specialist effectively and efficiently. I took self defense classes growing up and have constantly been practicing since then. I have a background and experience in working as a Security, having worked as a part-time Security Officer for some companies throughout my time at University. Working for the Government would not just be a dream come true. It would also help me grow and progress in my career while contributing to the Government by ensuring the safety of its officials. Lastly, my degree in Psychology would greatly help me perform my duties by having the knowledge and understanding of human behavior and their way of thinking.
3.3 What would you say is your greatest strength and weakness? (75 words minimum):
I could say that my greatest strengths would be my dedication, discipline, and adaptive skills. I always put my job first and give it my all. My weakness is that it can be difficult for me to maintain work/life balance as I am a bit of a workaholic and tend to overwork myself. I have also noticed that I can sometimes be self-critical to the point where it makes me overthink a little so much that I feel burned out. I have been working on improving myself lately by taking one step at a time and taking a breather every once in a while.
3.4 Please provide a short biography about yourself and why you believe you should be selected, as well as your motivation for joining the San Andreas State Government Executive Branch? (150 words minimum):
I was born in Seoul, South Korea on the 16th of February, 1997. My mother was a social worker at a Domestic Violence Intervention Center. My father worked as a police officer and took sideline jobs in several security agencies in Korea before starting a new career abroad.
After high school, my mother and I migrated to San Fierro with the help of my father and became US citizens sometime later. I attended San Fierro University and majored in Psychology. The first few years of living in San Fierro were tough for me, mainly because of the cultural differences. However, with the help of my newfound university friends, I was able to adapt slowly.
During my University years, my father was diagnosed with a chronic illness and had to retire. And in order to support my family, I took a job as a security officer in San Fierro in the company my father used to work for. I continued working as a security officer throughout my time at University. A few years later, I finished my degree and was offered a Human Resources Manager position in a Company in Los Santos. Though the job paid well, I realized I was not really into it after a year. I enjoyed working in the field more where I could put my skills to good use. After all, I did excel in my previous job as a security officer. I, however, decided to stay for a few more months as the company was understaffed at the time.
Six months later, I discovered that the Government was looking to hire Security Specialists. I thought of this as a sign and an excellent opportunity to grow and progress in my career while doing something I am passionate about. I then tendered my resignation and decided to apply and pursue a career as a Security Specialist for the Government.
