Why do you wish to go on a ride-along with the Los Santos Emergency Medical Department?:
I have recently found interest in joining the Los Santos Emergency Medical Department. Before I make any big decision, such as joining the LSEMS, I want to fully comprehend what I'm getting myself into. I want to understand more about how LSEMS works, as well as how to properly handle most situations that will arise. I'd also like to learn more about the current medics in the department to know who'd I be working with, as well as the general feel of the department.

• While on scenes with police involved I will remain in the ambulance and will not communicate with anyone.

Your ride-along request with the Los Santos Emergency Medical Services has been APPROVED. Please keep this ride-along request readily available throughout any of your ride-along sessions. We hope that you will get to see first-hand how the Medical Department and its employees operate day-to-day.

This ride-along request is valid for 28 days ((7 days)), after the 28 days ((7 days)) have passed your ride-along request will expire. If you are still interested in our ride-along program after your request has expired, you must submit a new one.

What should I do now?

• You are expected to follow common courtesy and show respect to the medic in-charge of your ride-along session, as so, we request you to dress properly and keep an eye on your personal hygiene.
• If you are in possession of any weapons, make sure not to bring them to a ride-along session. The medic in-charge will be frisking you before starting a ride-along session and will confiscate any weapons into their possession until the end of the session.
• When you are ready for a ride-along session, visit the Pillbox Hill Medical Center at Strawberry Avenue and ask if any EMT-I or above is available to conduct a ride-along session. There is no limit to the amount of sessions you may do, so long as your request is active.
• If no employees are available to conduct a ride-along session, try again another time or schedule a ride-along session beforehand. Your sessions may be conducted by a different medic each time.

Quick overview of the session:
Had lots of calls including a couple of firefighter calls and a ton of calls where we were able to use the helicopter, he asked a lot of questions throughout and is somewhat interested in becoming an employee I hope.
Did any issues occur during the session?:
We were robbed of my Fire truck once during the ride-along towards the end, however I managed to press the panic alarm and PD responded, ultimately defusing the situation and arresting those involved

He was very interested in different aspects of MD and keen to take part

Quick overview of the session:
We dealt with a number of issues from simple methadone selling to PD calls. Most of the evening was simple and we spent some of the time at MD with no calls as standard at this time of Evening.
Did any issues occur during the session?:
No Issues, Was a perfect ride along.
Any additional notes for further ride-along sessions:
I feel that Mr Newton was one of the best Ride-Along's I've had since starting my time with MD. He was attentive, active and always paid attention. He asked questions about many different scenes and scenarios and seemed keen about each aspect of MD.

I recommend and give a recommendation for Mr Newton to join the MD.
