- Private law practice - 2017-2019: I opened my own law practice in Liberty City, where I specialized in criminal defense. I represented clients ranging in severity from traffic offenses, DUI defense, and also felony charges.
Liberty City Attorneys Office - 2014 - 2017: After graduation from law school, I went to work for the Liberty City Attorney's Office. While there, I prosecuted criminal matters, and was later promoted to Senior Attorney, reporting directly to the District Attorney.

- SECTION 4 - LONG RESPONSE
4.1 Why do you want to be employed with the Judicial Branch? (75 WORDS):- Since moving to San Andreas two years ago, I have been studying for admission to the BAR. However, I have been very busy with the move to San Andreas, and getting other affairs in order. I have finally got into a good spot, and I feel ready to take the BAR. I would like to join SAJB so I can represent clients again in all matters, civil and criminal. As I spent most of my childhood in God's great state of Texas, I consider myself to be a patriot, and hold the ideals of the Constitution near and dear to my heart. I want to ensure all citizens of the great state of San Andreas enjoy their liberties and receive a robust defense should they end up in a predicament.
- I possess a great level of intellect. From a very young age, I enjoyed philosophy and argument. In high school, I joined the debate team, and we won championships all three years I was on the team! I attribute my success in this endeavor to be because of my ability to research complex issues, and further use this research to make complex arguments. My team quickly realized I possessed great leadership skills, and unanimously voted to make me the lead chair on the team. Not only did I become great at presenting great arguments, but I became great at leading a team. These two qualities vaulted me to the top of my class in law school. After law school, I wanted to explore both the prosecution and defense side of the law, and I believe my experience in both areas would be valuable, should I be selected to join the SAJB.
- I would like to see the government return to the ideals of the Constitution, ensuring all citizens have access to quality legal defense, and due process. In the two years I have been here, I have found both the LSPD and the LSSD can be very quick to make decisions, which can be forever life-changing. Some people end up in the wrong place, at the wrong time. I believe the LSPD and the LSSD both have great law enforcement officers, who could also stand to learn from capable attorneys in the judicial system. I would like to see the criminal justice system operate with the utmost efficiency, but also with the highest-standards of equality and fairness.

- Never within this state. I received a few speeding tickets back in Texas, and these conveniently all occurred when I was rushing to a client's aid. While in private practice, I would routinely respond to police and sheriff headquarters to be present when clients were questioned.

My name is Hugh R. Allgood. Let's see, I was born in San Andreas in 1989. However, at the age of two, my parents moved us to Texas, where I grew up. My father was an attorney, working his way up become an appellate judge for the great state of Texas. I grew up watching my father's level of work ethic, and have made it a priority to follow in his footsteps. My mother was a stay at home mother, who ensured I lived the best life. As I stated earlier in the application, while in high school, I was on the debate team, leading the team to several championships. I graduated from high school in 2007, and quickly went off to the State of Liberty University, where I double majored in criminal justice and political science. After graduation from college in 2014, I was accepted to the State of Liberty University School of Law, graduating with my Juris Doctor in 2014. From 2014 to 2017, I worked for the State of Liberty Attorney's Office, before leaving that and going into private practice from 2017-2019.
As I mentioned, I was originally born here in San Andreas. I saw an advertisement through the Los Santos tourism bureau one night while watching television, so I decided to come here for a visit. I immediately fell in love. But because I had not fully prepared for the trip, I had to return back to Liberty City to close out my practice. I arrived here in April of 2019. I have been studying intermittingly for the bar, and I feel prepared to take it on now. I wish to go back into practicing law, as I feel it to be my duty and honor to ensure everyone has access to a high-quality and robust access to legal services.
