I was born in Manchester and went to university to do Economics and Politics, going on to work in a financial institute in London. I eventually left after around 3 years for the flashy life and better job opportunities of Los Santos. I've found it hard to adjust to the Los Santos life and want a place to have a career in an interesting sector. My hobbies include long journeys, walking around the city or driving to Blaine country, hiking, and sports like football and squash, which I have continued to take part in since coming to the city.
This is going to be my career and as such I aim to dedicate a large part of my time in the city to both completing this job, as well as progressing in this career.
I've worked as many things since entering the city and have found the manual work from mining, to fishing, to farming to be monotonous and tiring, and would relish the chance to settle down and specialise into a career that interests me since studying in university. Rehabilitation is a vital part of society and this great state, and to contribute to society by becoming a correctional officer is something I would take great pride in.
Furthermore, this job would give me an excellent chance to finally progress in something, rather than being just another face in the city I can walk confidently knowing where I'm going in life. I am exceptionally excited to join a dedicated team that I can contribute to, and myself can be lifted up by my prospective colleagues.
I have been through great pressure back in England at my previous workplace, battling to meet tough deadlines in a fast-paced and ruthless environment, and so I have been hardened to deal with this pressure by focusing on one task at a tiome while staying aware of the overall picture when completing a task. In addition with the crime rife in the city I have been robbed multiple times and managed to talk my way out of one altrication with all my possesions intact.
My empathy and stoicism are certainly vital traits as a correctional officer, as I will be able to take insults and abuse without getting worked up, obviously this is required to deal with potential hardened criminals and staying professional during work. As well as that, my empathy in understanding other criminals, dealing with them with humanity but also strictness can be greatly beneficial to rehabilitating criminals while maintaining a strict relationship between prisoner and Officer.

Yes, I have worked as a team in my mining team where we would efficiently mine ore and transport it north as fast as possible while taking important steps to maintain safety when securing our load and avoiding situations with any criminals or other malicious actors. I have also worked with multiple farmers to plant crops and ensure they’re harvested before they go bad which is a narrow timeframe and vital to use teamwork to ensure all the crops are of good quality.
