GM-22 and SF-09 added to the San Andreas Penal CodeGM-22 - False Imprisonment
SF-09 - False Imprisonment of a HostageThe unlawful violation of the personal liberty of another. No person may restrain, detain, or confine another person without his/her consent unless such action is in relation to legal detainment done by a civilian (citizen's arrest), police, or certified medical personnel. The crime can be committed with or without force or violence.
If a person is restrained, detained, or confined with or without force to avoid an impending arrest, this will be upgraded to SF-09.
Cannot be charged alongside Kidnapping and vice verse in the same instance - Kidnapping and False Imprisonment are exclusive charges to one another
Every person who commits the offense of false imprisonment, as defined in GM-22, against a person for purposes of protection from arrest, which substantially increases the risk of harm to the victim, or for purposes of using the person as a shield.
