I grew up in Liberty City and lived there my whole life until a few months ago. My father, Carmichael, was a cook for an Italian eatery in Little Italy which closed down about a few years back. My mother was a nurse who worked for Sweeney General out of Portland View. We never had a lot of money but we made due.
I never did well in school growing up. The lessons weren't hard it was dodging the wrath of the neighbour kids the gangs had recruited.
I straightened out a little in highschool when my father got sick. More time at home taking care of Ma and Pops took me off the streets and didn't afford me the time to get into trouble. Graduated with honours out of highschool and found my way into Hope Medical College. I was two years into my studies when my father had passed. It put a lot of strain on my mother financially and I was forced to take up two extra jobs while trying to maintain my studies. Needless to say it didn't work out for me.
Mom died on a Sunday, I buried her on a Tuesday and I arrived in Los Santos on a Thursday.
A good portion of my time. I find it's best to familiarize yourself to new tasks as quickly as possibly to help shorten the initial learning curve.
I believe I am a mature candidate that is willing to take this opportunity very seriously.
I am aware that the Department of Corrections are responsible for handling extremely dangerous individuals and applicants must be able to respond to strict protocols under extremely tense situations. My currently employment with Los Santos Emergency Medical Services I think has given me enough experience to handle these pressures while maintaining a clear head. I have extensive knowledge in medical treatments and am an active member of the Critical Response Unit making me certified to deal with a variety of dangerous individuals.
Aside from being a CRU First Responder, I am also a Junior Forensic Operative. These two skillsets I believe will make me a valuable asset as I am able to switch between departments should the D.O.C. ever have need one of these EMS units in a timely fashion when one cannot be found.
The devotion I am willing to put into a job I love and enjoy doing I believe will be extremely beneficial to the staff of the Department of Corrections
As a first responder in the CRU, I would say I am more than qualified to deal with these situations.
As stated in the section above, my certifications in LSEMS can make me a valuable asset amongst the Department of Corrections in regards to being able to transition between department roles if needed in a timely manner. As well as the training had from dealing with high stress situations and needing to remain focused and calculated.
Long hours are not something I am unfamiliar with and am more than happy to put in the work to help ease the burden of duty on your staff.
