My name is Michael Smitch and I was born and raised in Mississippi and moved out looking for success. I received a bachelor's degree in Networking after changing majors a few times and graduated recently. I grew up in a small town on the beach and wanted to come to a bigger area so when I came here I did some farming and other freelance jobs and got a nice car and now I'm ready for a better career. I plan on purchasing a house soon and a second car in the future after I get some more money under my belt.

How much time and energy do you plan on dedicating towards the department in the event you are hired?
At least 90% of my time if not, more will be put towards the department

Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and why should we hire you over other applicants? (minimum 125 words)
I would like to join the SADOC because I feel like it would be a good place for me to work. I've seen how the prison works and it seems like a really good place to work at and it could really show how hard a worker I am. I'm a very dedicated employee that strives to become better and learn from the situations I'm involved in. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Networking and if hired I'll be one of the hardest working employees you have, guaranteed. I learn very quickly and work very well in leadership positions as I've done it many times before in my past. I also have an athletic past and enjoy going to the gym so I could be of more use in that sense.

How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?
Calm and structured as I like to analyze everything in a situation that is stressful as I want to be able to solve it as best as possible.

What qualifications or traits do you possess that may be an asset to us (minimum 75 words)?
I currently have a firearms license that was just recently accepted and my BLS cert. I'm a good driver as if needed for emergency situations I can get from point A to point B in the quickest and safest way possible. I have very good common sense (a lot of people don't have nowadays) and I'm easy to get along with. Finally, I will have great activity and will put in the hours to achieve my goals and won't disappoint you if you choose to hire me.

Yes, I've led many teams through college and high school. I've been the captain of my soccer team in college and high school and have also led many teams with Networking tasks back when I did some work as a Network Engineer. I also was a part of the boy scouts and was actually at the rank of Eagle Scout when I finished.
