  • Citizens of San Andreas,

The Judicial Branch is proud to announce the official opening of the Civil Court of San Andreas. The Civil Court is a Court that resides under the Superior Court of the State of San Andreas. The Court handles disputes between two parties, for both individuals and business entities.

Initially Civil Court will be focused ONLY on these specific claims:
    • Contract Disputes (breaches of contract terms/failure to complete contractual obligations)
    • Divorce Proceedings
While the current jurisdiction of the Civil Court is intentionally limited, this scope reflects a deliberate and structured approach to implementation. The Judicial Branch’s initial objective is to ensure consistency, efficiency, and procedural integrity within a focused framework before expanding the Court’s authority to additional civil matters in the future.

Please note that while we will be accepting submissions to the Civil Court, each submission will still be reviewed by a qualified Judge prior to acceptance. The Judge will then determine if the claim is to move forward with activation. They may choose to request more information from the filer prior to activation.

If the claim is activated by the courts, which will be heard on a first-come-first-serve basis, the court will then issue a summons to the defendant to both appear on the docket and in court. The defendant will be asked to provide their own evidence. Keep in mind that Civil Court will operate based on a preponderance of evidence, rather than beyond a reasonable doubt, as is the standard in Criminal Court.

Once the discovery window is complete, the court will proceed with normal trial procedures for scheduling. However, courtroom processes will differ slightly from Bench Trials in that they will require opening statements.

Please see the Civil Court Filing for any additional information that may be needed to proceed with your submission to the Superior Court of San Andreas.
