Thomas Johns had a dad that was a police officer and he was the kindest person alive. His dad always helped people and believed in doing the right thing no matter what. When Thomas was younger, he looked up to his dad and wanted to be just like him. Everything changed when his dad was killed in a war with a gang. Losing his father was the hardest thing Thomas ever went through.

After his father died, Thomas lost control of his emotions. He felt angry and hurt all the time. He stopped thinking before acting and started making bad choices. One of those choices was reckless driving, because he didn’t care about the consequences anymore. He felt like his life was already broken so nothing else mattered.

Over time, Thomas realized that this wasn’t what his dad would have wanted. His dad stood for protecting people, not putting them in danger. Thomas knew he had to change and start somewhere. He wants to protect the country and help others instead of hurting himself. He is still learning to control his emotions, but he is trying to become stronger and honor his father’s memory by becoming a better person.

2.2 Why do you want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections, and why should we hire you over other applicants? (minimum 75 words)
I want to join because I want a job where I can actually make a difference and keep things under control. I am a good person and I know how to stay calm even when situations get stressful. I don’t abuse my power or hurt people for no reason, and I believe respect goes a long way. I am good at working with other people and listening instead of making things worse. I can deal with angry individuals without losing my temper, and I know how to keep my emotions in check. I believe I would be a good choice because I take responsibility seriously and I do my job the right way.

I want to join the San Andreas Department of Corrections because I want a job where I can actually make a difference and keep things under control.
