LSEMS Collaborative Care Program | Introduction
December 28th, 2025
Introduction
The Los Santos Emergency Medical Services (LSEMS) is proud to introduce the Collaborative Care Program – a departmental initiative designed to strengthen partnerships between LSEMS and qualified professionals from the broader medical community.
This program establishes a formal framework for collaboration between LSEMS and independent specialists, enabling shared expertise, improved continuity of care, and more efficient coordination between public and private sectors of health care in San Andreas.
Program Vision
The Collaborative Care Program was founded on a simple belief: effective medicine depends on communication, cooperation, and respect across all areas of practice.
Through this program, LSEMS seeks to:
• Build strong, accountable relationships between emergency responders and civilian medical professionals.
• Improve patient outcomes by ensuring coordinated follow-up and continuity of care.
• Offer opportunities for specialists to lend expertise to ongoing cases and medical operations.
• Create structured, transparent pathways for collaboration under departmental oversight.
The result is a unified approach to public health – one that values specialization and teamwork equally in the pursuit of saving lives.
Program Structure
The Collaborative Care Program operates as a department-wide framework rather than a standalone division. Participation occurs through approved roles posted by LSEMS, allowing licensed and credentialed professionals to collaborate in support of patient care, case consultation, or specialized medical needs.
Each participant operates as an independent professional, maintaining their own practice and autonomy, while working in partnership with LSEMS under defined scope, oversight, and confidentiality standards.
Why It Matters
The launch of this program marks an important step in bridging the gap between emergency medical response and extended or specialized care.
By inviting skilled professionals from across the medical field to participate in structured collaboration, LSEMS ensures that patients benefit from a broader range of expertise while maintaining consistent standards of accountability and ethics.
Participation
Opportunities to participate in the Collaborative Care Program are posted as they become available and may vary based on departmental needs. Interested professionals are encouraged to review the available postings in this section for current openings and application instructions.
Approved participants will be formally recognized as a Registered LSEMS Collaborative Care Partner.
