San Andreas Department of Corrections: A New Era
It is with respect and appreciation that the San Andreas State Government announces the resignation of Kourtney LaFleur, Warden of Bolingbroke Penitentiary and the San Andreas Department of Corrections.
On the 6th of October 2020 Kourtney LaFleur officially joined the San Andreas Department of Corrections after successfully completing her academy. A week and a half later, she completed her training and was promoted to full Correctional Officer I.
During her time as a Correctional Officer, she joined several divisions including: the Correctional Medical team, where she was dedicated to her role as a Psychologist and was eventually promoted to head of the division. This was one of her most memorable achievements as she explained in her employee of the Month Questionnaire in November of 2020. She was also a part of CERT and HR, where she also provided dedicated work towards.
In February of 2021 Warden LaFleur was promoted to the Supervisor team when she was promoted to Corporal. She would quickly climb up the ranks as four months later, she would join the command team as a Captain. She would continue to demonstrate her commitment to the department, serving in the Human Resources team and eventually being promoted to Commander in August of the same year.
On February 2nd 2022, Kourtney LaFleur would take over as Warden of the department following the resignation of Solomon Cobb. For the next three years, she would serve as the Warden of Bolingbroke Penitentiary and the SADOC, accumulating over 4649.61 hours in her tenure.
Elena Flores will assume the role of Interim Warden of Bolingbroke Penitentiary and the San Andreas Department of Corrections.
Elena brings long-standing service and senior leadership experience, having served as Chief of Police of the Los Santos Police Department. During her time with the department, she focused on public trust, accountability, staff development, and building a stable, long-term structure. She shaped policies that supported operational needs while helping officers advance through various roles, balancing firm expectations with clear support for those under her. She consistently handled pressure with direct action and steady judgment.
Appointed by the Department of Legal Services, Elena is expected to bring her trusted and sought-after leadership approach to the San Andreas Department of Corrections. Her focus will be on improving department activity, consistency, and clarity, while ensuring dependable results and setting a strong foundation for the department. Once the department is ready, members of the Department of Corrections command team will be given the opportunity to apply for the Warden position.
