Effective immediately, Hope Kant will be stepping away from her role as Associate Justice within the Judiciary Division to focus fully on her duties as Branch Administrator of the San Andreas Judicial Branch (SAJB).
This transition is intended to better support the operational needs of the Judicial Branch as a whole. The Branch Administrator role was designed to be an overall role that would aid in both day-to-day as well as long-term goals of the Branch. As a full-time position, the Branch Administrator may be assigned or temporarily step into roles across divisions, including Judiciary, Defense, or Prosecution, when coverage is needed, as long as no conflict of interest exists. Assigning a more flexible approach to the role allows the Branch to address time-sensitive matters, ensure courtroom operations proceed without disruption, and maintain accessible services to civilians, law enforcement, and legal professionals alike.
This clarification is being issued to minimize confusion, particularly on court days when full-time Branch Administrator Kant may appear in varying roles depending on need.
