  • Los Santos County: On October 23, 2020, around 3:00 p.m, deputies from the South Patrol Area heard gunshots near Paul's Farm, when arriving on the scene the deputies noticed two people on the ground and a black Kamacho leaving the scene. Deputies went over to the two individuals, only to find them deceased from gunshots. Deputies put up a BOLO to look for the Black Kamacho, possibly involved with the situation.

Shortly after, an unmarked unit from the Sheriff's Department spotted a black Kamacho and attempted to pull the vehicle over with his lights and sirens. The Black Kamacho then sped up and a vehicle pursuit was initiated. The Kamacho drove to Mount Chiliad, where the deputies struggled to keep up with the pursuit, however, one deputy managed to catch up to them, but the Kamacho then backed up to the deputy, seeing him alone and vulnerable, three individuals in the vehicle opened fire at him. Deputy-Involved Shooting occurred where the deputy returned fire to the suspects who started shooting at him, however, being outmanned, the deputy was shot and later announced dead at the hospital.

The black Kamacho then took off from the scene again and it was lost by the deputies as they were trying to tend the injured deputy. A joint tactical channel was established between the Los Santos Sheriff's Department and the Los Santos Police Department to find the suspects who shot and killed the deputy. Police Department then spotted the same Kamacho.

Another pursuit was initiated in the joint tactical channel which lasted roughly around 30 minutes, ending at Mount Chiliad once again, when three suspects totaled their Kamacho and opened fire at the deputies and officers on scene. Deputies and officers returned fire at the suspects to eliminate a direct threat to their lives, which is where the second Deputy-Involved Shooting occurred.

No deputies or officers were shot, however, all three suspects were injured from the shooting. Two suspects were treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, however, the third suspect succumbed to his injuries and passed away. Two suspects were air-lifted to Paleto Medical Department where they were later taken into custody.

Two (2) Submachine guns, three (3) .50 pistols, and one (1) heavy pistol was recovered from the scene and taken into evidence.
