  • As of today, the 17th of August, 2020, the City of Los Santos Penal Code has been updated to address the rise of body armor being seen carried on our streets.

Currently, the only source of body armor imports is through organized criminal organizations, and over the past few days, the usage of body armor during ruthless attacks against civilians and law enforcement has increased significantly. Until there is a legal import option, San Andreas will not recognize body armor as a legal item, thus this change has been introduced to reflect on our standpoint.

A 30 days grace period will be given to law-abiding civilians who have body armor in their possession, to surrender it to the Los Santos Police Department or the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department. No questions will be asked and there will be no legal repercussions. However, beyond these 30 days, your possession of body armor regardless if felon or not will be seen as illegal. This grace period ends on the 16th of September, 2020. We hope that those who purchase body armor from these organizations understand that you are actively contributing to their success of causing chaos in our city, as your money will be spent on illegal equipment which they use to cause harm to not only law enforcement, but the residents of San Andreas.

    Penal Code Reference:

WM04 - Possession of Illegal Body Armor
Possessing illegal body armor not purchased or obtained through legal traders. Armor being kevlar, plates, steel, or even make-shift items intended to slow down or stop knives or bullets.

WF05 - Distribution of Illegal Firearms, Ammunition, or Body Armor.
Distributing illegal firearms, ammunition or body armor through trade, gifting or lending
