- With the recent retirement of previous Chief of the Los Santos Emergency Medical Services , Dean Thompson, we would like to congratulate and welcome Chief Erick Chavez on his appointment as Chief of Los Santos Emergency Medical Services.
Chief Chavez is 39 years old. He joined the Los Santos Emergency Medical Services on the 27th of August 2018 and has worked his way through the ranks, both as a Supervisor as well as a Lead Paramedic/Command Team member under the previous leadership. Upon the appointment of the former Chief Dean Thompson, he was appointed as the Deputy Chief and has served in the capacity of Deputy Chief and Interim Chief following Thompson's recent resignation.
During the last months Chavez has overseen all divisions within the LSEMS, including its Commanders and has revamped a lot of former department protocols for the better. During his leadership, LSEMS has grown into a large department consisting of approximately 70 EMTs and Paramedics.
With this announcement Chief Chavez officially starts his duty as Chief of the Emergency Medical Services, effective from today's date.
