-
  • The San Andreas State Government is pleased to confirm new Del Perro Pier parking regulations which will come into effect 1st December. Following a recent community engagement project. These regulations are going to be operating on a trial basis, with a view to making them permanent should the impact be positive and successful.

We recognise the importance of fishing, not just for it's contribution to our economy but also as a peaceful past-time for our hard-working citizens. These new regulations have been brought in, with the intention of allowing our arduous anglers a safe location to not only fish our beautiful ocean but also, to park their vehicles legally and with convenience in mind.

    We're therefore pleased to confirm that after the necessary consultations, the following regulations for parking on the Del Perro Pier are in effect and as follows;

    • The Pier itself is broken into three separate zones with various restrictions.
      • The Green Zone.
This will allow civilians permitted parking for the pier for the entirety of their permit.
        • It is your responsibility to make sure your permit is active.
        • The active permit must be on display in your vehicle at all times.
        • The large boardwalk parking lot to the east of the Leviathan Rollercoaster is designated as a Green Zone.

        • Vehicles with expired or incorrect permits are liable for towing and a $500 fine for the owner.
      • The Yellow Zone.
This zone is for travel between the parking spaces and exiting the Pier.
        • Emergency and Mechanic vehicles are exceptions to this and may park if needed.
        • Empty vehicles parked in this zone are liable for towing and a $500 fine for the owner.
        • Occupied vehicles refusing to leave this zone are liable for towing and a fine being issued.
        • Whilst driving through, you are expected to maintain the right lane where possible.
      • The Red Zone.
This zone is meant for pedestrians only.
        • Vehicles should only be inside this zone, as a matter of emergency or to turn around.
        • Emergency Service or Mechanic vehicles are permitted to park here.
        • Civilian vehicles parked in this zone will be towed and a $500 fine issued for the owner.
        • Whilst driving through, you are expected to maintain the right lane where possible.
You can see our zone designations clearly in the image below.

    Parking Pay Machines
You can find these blue pay machines located around the parking locations at the Pier.
If you are unsure of how to use them or cannot find them, ask a fellow fisherman!

    Large / Commercial Vehicles
Due to the weight limit and the confined space on the pier itself, large or heavy vehicles will not be permitted entry to the Pier. This includes any and all versions of a particular vehicle.

    The following vehicles fall into that category;
    Banned Vehicles
    SUV - Patriot Stretch
    SUV - Contender
    SUV - Dubsta 6x6
    SUV - Landstalker XL
    Commercial - Pounder
    Commercial - Mule

    Commercial - Hauler
    Commercial - Stockade
    Commercial - Packer

    Service - Dashound
    Service - Bus
    Utility - Fieldmaster
    Van - Boxville
    Van - Taco Van
    Van - Journey
    Van - Camper
Once again, the main road up and down the Pier must not be obstructed.
Areas off-limits to vehicles not be obstructed.
Citizens should follow the instructions of Emergency Services at all times, for their own safety.

    Mask Enforcement and Facial Concealment
This is a reminder that the Del Perro Pier is public property and as such, you are NOT permitted to wear any item of clothing that conceals your face. Eyewear, Neckwear and Headwear is of course permitted, but nothing that conceals your face fully from view.

You are liable for a citation for Facial Concealment A (GC06) even without being asked to remove the item if you conceal your face in public. Should you refuse to remove the concealment when initially asked or violate any part of Facial Concealment B (GM20) you can be charged and arrested.

The Del Perro Pier has been an enjoyable social hotspot in our city for quite a while now. These regulations and your co-operation with said regulations will ensure that remains that way for some time to come.

Changes to park regulations

There are two changes to the parking regulations at the Pier. This document will be edited over the next couple of weeks. Please read these updates carefully.

Currently, the parking meters on the pier are not working. During your visit to the pier, you will no longer need to pay for a parking ticket; replacement meters will be installed at a later date.

Temporary permits may be issued for larger vehicles outside of this list if their primary goal is to help local businesses. If you require a temporary permit. Please feel free to contact Oj Wood at the San Andreas State Government.
