Thank you for your interest in joining the Los Santos Emergency Medical Services. We provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured and transport the patient to a medical facility where further treatment can be provided. We do our best to provide treatment to every citizen of San Andreas and ensure their safety throughout. This document will outline our recruitment procedure and help you see if you're eligible to join our team.

  • Name: Applicant's name must not resemble any derogatory word or phrase. This can hold up the application process and also lead to denial. We implore applicants to use common sense in this regard.
  • Age: The LSEMS requires that applicants be at least 18 years old at the time of submission.
  • License: Applicants must possess a full driver's license issued by the Los Santos DMV. A trucker's license is required if the applicant wishes to join the Fire & Rescue Division. We typically prefer applicants with no major traffic or driving offenses.
  • Clear Criminal Record: City of Los Santos Penal Code
    Applicants must be clear of criminal charges using the following timelines:
    General and Serious Felonies: 4 Months
    Other Felonies: 3 Months
    General and Nuisance Misdemeanors: 1 Month
    Other Misdemeanors: 2 Months
    Vehicular misdemeanors are exempt, barring excessive offenses
  • No History of Mental Issues: The LSEMS requires that applicants not have any history with certain mental conditions that could inhibit performance on-duty and cause further issues in the department. Exceptions can be made.
  • Further Requirements:
    • You must consent to a background check conducted by the Los Santos Police Department on behalf of the Los Santos Emergency Medical Services.
    • You must understand and be completely capable of communicating (speaking and writing) in the English language.
    • You must be capable of attending a formal interview at the Central Medical Center if your application is accepted.
      • (( This applies both IC and OOC, as our interview has an OOC portion as well as an IC one. ))
 ! Message from: Human Resources Command Team
  • The Human Resources Division has the right to deny anyone for any reason.
    (( This is to ensure that all members are upholding the factions internal policy and regulations)). You cannot appeal these denials, but if you feel that the Human Resources Member acted unfairly or personal issues involving in your application you can file an Internal Affairs report and Make a copy of it and send it to Human Resources Command Team.
  • Make sure to file your application with honest answers, If an applicant is found to have lied on their application, there will be consequences.
  • ((Denials for IC reasons do not bar reapplying on another character. This includes failing the background check. OOC denials require the player to wait the timeframe specified in the denial, and making a new character will not get around this. This includes denials for recent admin logs.))

There are three major steps in the LSEMS' recruitment process.
  • 1. Application Stage
    • You submit your application using our application format below, making sure you follow all of the requirements listed above. A background check is conducted and your application is looked at by a member of our Human Resources Division. They will bring their thoughts to the rest of the HR Division and we will discuss the application further.
  • 2. Interview Stage
    • If your application is accepted and we find no issues with it, you will move onto the next step in our recruitment process. Our interview has many purposes and allows us to make a more informed decision for each applicant. Taking place at the Central Medical Center in Strawberry, Los Santos, we will be assessing your general knowledge of medical procedure, communication ability, problem-solving skills, and thought procedure. All questions are open-ended so we can get a better understanding of you as a person. Notes are taken down for each answer and brought up to the rest of the Human Resources Division in a joint meeting.
  • 3. Contract & Badge
    • If the Human Resources Division decides that you're a good fit for the LSEMS, we will do our best to arrange a meeting with you. Once you meet with a capable Human Resources member at the Central Medical Center, we will hand you your contract and badge. Once signed, you will be officially recognized as an Emergency Medical Responder and a member of the Los Santos Emergency Medical Services.

The LSEMS has several Out-of-Character requirements that must be met on top of our In-Character requirements.
  • You must be at least 16 years old at the time of submitting your application.
  • You must possess a working microphone to be used in-game and on TeamSpeak 3 as Eclipse Roleplay is a primarily VOIP server.
  • You must communicate a majority of the time using VOIP as opposed to typing in text.
  • You must be able to communicate fluently in the English language, which includes grammar and spelling.
  • You must have TeamSpeak 3 and Discord installed.
  • You must be able to demonstrate very good roleplay ability. This does not mean, though, that you need to understand every aspect of medical roleplay, as we will do our best to assist you and have guides that will be of great help. If you are not 100% confident in your roleplay ability yet, we recommend spending some more time on the server and having fun. Other, less demanding factions, can also be joined to improve your roleplay ability before coming to the LSEMS.
  • You must have 5000EXP. that means you shouldn't have the NEW PLAYER TAG.
  • You must be able to spend at least Six hours weekly on your LSEMS character. This requirement can be temporarily exempted through a Leave of Absence.
  • Your Admin Record has been clean for at least 30 days from the filing date.
    • This means that you haven't had any punishments and you are in good standing with the Eclipse community. Depending on the severity of the punishment, we reserve the right to deny your application based on your Admin Record, even after the thirty-day minimum. All cases are reviewed individually.
