On an otherwise quiet Monday afternoon, the 5th of July 2021 at approximately 1240 units of the Los Santos Police Department received a 911 call about an incident happening on the lower parts of Power Street, Pillbox Hill, Metro Los Santos. The civilian that called 911 mentioned a white sports vehicle being driven in an erratic manner. Upon their arrival to the location the units of the Los Santos Police Department that responded to the nuisance informed other responding units of the fact that they had spotted the mentioned vehicle and that it was being driven recklessly - therefore, additional units were requested.

The responding units of the Los Santos Police Department initiated a regular traffic stop procedure on the white sports vehicle and pulled the vehicle over to the side of the road with their lights and sirens. When the units approached the individual, the driver soon made it known that they were driving the vehicle without a valid driver's license. Once requested to step out of their vehicle the individual fled from the traffic stop.

After the suspect fled from the traffic stop, a pursuit was quickly set up by the units on the scene. The pursuit contained multiple ground units, as well as an air support unit. This pursuit took the units throughout the city and later on during the pursuit, the county. Due to the reckless driving of the suspect, the pursuit was putting a major risk to public safety - therefore, it was decided the pursuit needed to be stopped and permission was given to the lead vehicle in the pursuit line to initiate a pursuit intervention technique. Due to the emphasis on this technique in training, the Officer successfully managed to bring the suspect vehicle to a stop without injuring any civilians.

When the suspect was put in cuffs and their rights were read, an illegal firearm with a scratched-off serial number was found. The suspect disobeyed several commands given by the arresting officer, even going to the extent of attempting to walk away from the arrest. The suspect eventually complied and was put in the back of a squad car before their charges were assessed and they were brought to Bolingbroke Penitentiary to serve a lengthy sentence.

We would like to thank the Police Officers that were involved in this particular scene for their professional conduct that did not only led to the arrest of a suspect but more importantly, prevented any harm to civilians in the State of San Andreas. While the Los Santos Police Department does everything in its power to stop certain situations from happening, we recommend you always look around while crossing the road to ensure you are and stay safe.
