    Monday:

    Armed Robbery Thwarted - Chumash
(Monday) At around 0930, a distress alarm was transmitted from the Chumash general store. An unmarked unit was nearby and they immediately responded to the robbery. They arrived on-scene with 2 suspects, one of them aiming a firearm at the clerk and the other taking money from the register. Additional units were called in and not long after the store was surrounded. The two suspects realized they had nowhere to go and after a brief standoff, they surrendered peacefully. They were both taken into custody and charged for their crimes without anyone getting hurt, including the store clerk.

    Tuesday:

Weapon Shipment - North Calafia Way
At around 1400 this Tuesday the Los Santos Police Department was tipped off by an anonymous source that stated a weapon shipment was being delivered in the vicinity of the Alamo Sea. The source is reliable and the rise of gang presence in and around the area of the potential drop location cemented the validity of the tip.

The Detective Bureau in coordination with the METRO division, and with the assistance of general patrol units, the drop was successfully intercepted. An individual involved and well-known as a member of a criminal organization was shot dead after attempting to murder a law enforcement officer in the vicinity of the drop location. It was later confirmed that the individual that was shot dead was directly involved in either ordering, or coordinating the weapon shipment due to their movement, presence and rate of interest.
An undisclosed amount of drugs tables were confiscated during the seizure, the operation was a complete success. The Los Santos' Sheriff's Department's very own Special Enforcement Detail directly assisted in the operation with manpower and logistics.

    Wednesday:

Operating a Chop Shop - Hawick Avenue
During a bait car operation this Wednesday at around 2030 a suspect was pursued and apprehended after attempting to strip the bait vehicle of parts at a local chopshop. The suspect was identified after they were tracked to a chopshop in East Los Santos - attempting to dismantle the vehicle for monetary gain. The individual gave chase on a dirtbike to the Land Act Dam where they were ultimately apprehended. Coordinated response of Traffic Officers and the Air Support Division ensured the timely apprehension of the primary suspect that committed the act of vehicular theft. The standoff between the suspect and law enforcement lasted for around 10 minutes as the suspect was actively resisting arrest by swimming through a body of water located in the Tataviam Mountains. Luckily, the suspect sustained no injuries, and no damages occurred to public property during the daring arrest.

    Thursday:

Officer Shot Down in Pursuit - Vinewood Hills
At 0935, a simple traffic stop was conducted on a Bifta off-road vehicle who had expired tickets. Little did the officer know, the vehicle was currently occupied by 2 armed and dangerous individuals. During the stop the vehicle started evading from the officer, resulting in a high-speed pursuit being conducted. An airship from the Air Support Division as well as a Motorcycle Response Unit was deployed in order to keep up with the vehicle. The suspects attempted to evade police off-road in the Vinewood Hills. The Motorcycle Response Unit was able to keep up well in the terrain. However, they were shot down off the motorcycle by the suspects. Units immediately tended to the injured officer, while the remaining chased after the suspects. Unfortunately, the vehicle managed to evade capture and the suspects remain rampant. The injured officer was treated by Los Santos Emergency Medical Services and is in stable condition.

    Friday:

    Illegal Firearms Recovered - Burton
At roughly 0850, an individual was spotted with a mask on at the Burton area. They were asked to take their mask off, and for some reason refused law enforcement instruction. They then got in a vehicle, which was pulled over at that point. Even while in a traffic stop, they refused to show their face. Eventually they were forced to be arrested for failing to comply and face concealment. The driver of the vehicle was detained at the time while the passenger was being arrested, and the driver was acting very nervous towards the officers. After being confronted, they admitted to having an illegal firearm in the vehicle. The driver was placed under arrest and the vehicle was searched, and an illegal pistol type firearm was recovered, with a modified barrel to include a suppressor. We would like to remind everyone that weapons modifications are illegal. If you see anyone carrying a modified firearm or offering you a to purchase any modifications, please report them to the Los Santos Police Department.

    Saturday:

Mass Shooting at the Del Perro Pier
During the afternoon, several calls were made reporting shots fired at pier. Units responded quickly, and arrived on scene within a minute. When the first unit arrived, the suspected shooter was no where to be found, but units located multiple injured individuals. Officers began treating the wounded and securing the area for investigation. Several minutes later, the suspected shooter arrived back at the pier, and opened fire on more people before entering a Sandking and attempting to flee. During the evasion, the suspect drove over several officers and rammed a police cruiser. Officers gave chase and called in a pursuit, which ended not long after when the suspect crashed the vehicle into a pole in front of the Court House. The suspect was arrested with great caution but no further incident, and was processed at the Department of Corrections for a very long sentence considering the serious felonies committed.
