    Monday:

Firearms Deal Foiled - Legion Square
At around 1000, members of the Detective Bureau received information regarding an on-going firearms deal taking place near Legion Square. Members of the Bureau immediately responded in order to intercept the firearms deal. The suspect unfortunately became alerted to the situation and attempted to flee. Marked police units tried to stop them but it was clear that their intention was to evade. The suspect led the pursuit into the sewers briefly, before returning to surface streets and ending by the Del Perro Beach wherethe suspect’s vehicle ran out of fuel. The suspect was then brought into custody without further incident, and placed under arrest for their crimes.

    Tuesday:

Hostage Taken at Armed Robbery - Downtown Vinewood
At 0330, a distress alarm was rung from the LosZantos247 store north of the Los Santos Bank. As units arrived, they saw two armed suspects taking money from the cashier, with a woman clearly in distress inside the store. As soon as the suspects were alerted, they took the woman at gunpoint and demanded the units to leave. The Metropolitan Division immediately responded with tactical equipment, while the first responders created a perimeter around the area. After remarkable negotiation attempts that lead to the safe release of the hostage, the suspects attempted to flee. However, the escape unfortunately turned into a firefight, with an officer sustaining gunshot injuries and the other two suspects incapacitated. Thankfully, medical attention was quickly provided by LSEMS, and the officer as well as both suspects survived the incident. The hostage was also given medical attention, and sustained minimal injuries. The suspects were later taken into custody and charged for their actions.

    Felony Evasion - Power Street
At 1351, a patrol unit came across an orange Glendale, that was both speeding and driving carelessly on Power Street. In response to this, the unit of the Los Santos Police Department conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. When the driver of the vehicle was asked to step out, they attempted to evade from the traffic stop and a pursuit was called. Units responded quickly, but the pursuit did not last long as the suspect collided with a pole inside of a parking garage, and was apprehended and arrested shortly afterwards. The suspect was processed at Bolingbroke Penitentiary to serve their sentence rather than Mission Row Jail, where they could have been out in 10 days had they not chosen to evade and endanger the public of Los Santos.

    Wednesday:

    Large Shootout - Senora Freeway
At approximately 0130, a unit transporting a suspect to Bolingbroke Penitentiary noticed suspicious activity in the area. The unit reported the activity to dispatch and units responded to investigate. On arrival, responding units saw over a dozen buses surrounding the Bolingbroke area. Shortly after, shots were heard being fired north of Bolingbroke. A unit reported seeing multiple individuals injured on the ground, with a number of people fleeing the scene. At the same time the buses were also fleeing the scene of the crime. As units arrived to secure the scene, most of the evidence was missing along with the fleeing individuals. However, the injured were treated and questioned as to what happened. It is unclear what caused the seemingly unprovoked act of violence, or if the overall suspicious activity in the area was related. Further investigation is currently being conducted. If you have information, please file a report.

    Thursday:

Shots Fired - Picture Perfect Drive
At around 2030, a unit attempted to stop a vehicle. The driver had no notable priors and no clear reason to run, but chose to evade nonetheless. Following an erratic pursuit throughout the entirety of Los Santos, the suspect stopped on a property on Picture Perfect Drive and evaded on foot, trespassing onto the property. The suspect was in possession of a 50 caliber pistol, which was legally licensed at the time. After running into a nearby property, the suspect turned and opened fire on the pursuing officer with the intent to kill. The officer returned fire. The officer was fortunately not hit during the fire exchange, while the suspect was incapacitated with severe life-threatening injuries. However, medical attention was provided quickly, and the suspect has made a full recovery. They were found guilty of several felony charges and have been sent to Bolingbroke Penitentiary to serve a lengthy sentence. No damages occurred to the property that was trespassed on by the suspect, nor were any officers harmed in the incident.

    Sunday:

    Drug Lab - Alta Street
A call was made by an anonymous individual at around 1600 this Sunday following a loud explosion coming out of the Alta Street apartment complex. The apartment in mind had caught fire and the Los Santos Emergency Medical Services' Fire Department division was quick on the response. Arriving units mostly consisting of Detective Bureau representatives secured the complex thoroughly - awaiting the arrival of Fire Department members. It was thought that the fire was a case of arson but it turned out a drug lab was held and operated within the apartment complex. During the raid, dozens of substances used to manufacture narcotics were seized as well as already processed illegal narcotic substances. A cradle of the drug enterprise has been dismantled while the Detective Bureau continues to further investigate the occurrence. The fire did not luckily spread to any other dorms or adjacent apartment rooms and was successfully contained. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team of the Los Santos Sheriff's Department along with the Los Santos Police Department METRO division assisted in disposing of hazardous and potentially explosive materials and ordinance.

    Gang Shootout - Grove Street
At approximately 1924 two officers of the Los Santos Police Department noticed unusual activity around Grove Street. As the unit investigated, shots were heard from across the street. The responding officers immediately called for backup, which arrived shortly afterwards. With precision and speed, the units of the Los Santos Police Department were able to stop the shooting and apprehend and arrest no less than six separate individuals. All of these individuals were treated by the Los Santos Emergency Medical Services, after which they were arrested, charged for their involvements in the situation, and transported securely to Bolingbroke Penitentiary.
