    Monday:

Fraud Thwarted - Los Santos Bank
At 0140, the Los Santos Police Department received a report of suspicious activity at the Los Santos Bank. An individual was reportedly attempting to commit fraud at the location. Not long after, a citizen reported being robbed of their money, as well as assaulted by the same individual. Officers identified the suspect and attempted to stop them, before they evaded using a motorcycle. Using quick deployment of a Motorcycle Response Unit, visual was maintained on the suspect for the duration of the pursuit. Furthermore, thanks to great communication between the involved units, a roadblock was successfully set up, where the suspect was finally captured. Evidence of fraud was received, with a contract being signed that was never fulfilled. Thankfully, the money was successfully returned to the rightful owner. We would like to remind everyone to utilize government services to conduct transactions in order to avoid fraud, as well as potentially being charged with Sales Tax Evasion. See this release for more information.

    Armed Robbery - La Puerta
At around 1600, dispatch received a 911 call from a civilian expressing concern for their friend, who had reported feeling in danger prior to hanging up his phone. Units quickly responded to the reported location, with the airship noting a vehicle parked in a nearby alley. Units made contact with the victim, confirming they were safe and obtaining a description of the suspects, while other units began pursuing the vehicle. The vehicle matched the description provided by the victim, and the driver failed to stop, leading to a pursuit that slowly headed north into the redwood region of San Andreas. The driver caused considerable danger to the public with their unsafe maneuvres. On Route 68, the driver lost control in an S curve, spinning into a cliff on the side of the road and stalling the vehicle. Units boxed the suspects in and they surrendered without further resistance.

Suspects were stripped of their unlicensed and illegal firearms and were transported to Mission Row, where the victim and two Detectives were waiting to identify and question them. Items reported stolen by the victim were found in the suspects' vehicle, and Detectives talked a confession out of both suspects after a long questioning period. Both suspects were taken to Bolingbroke Penitentiary, where they face several years and multiple felony charges each, carrying fines of over $10,000 collectively. The stolen item, worth roughly $1500, was returned to the victim.

    Wednesday:

    Trespassing - Little Seoul
At around 2000, a nuisance was reported regarding an individual purposefully tripping car alarms on Weazel News property. The vehicles in mind were personally owned by the company's employees who made the call. Upon arrival, an individual was seen jumping across a wall surrounding the parking lot the call originated from, fleeing on foot after law enforcement officials attempted to make contact with the individual. A helicopter unit was the primary unit to maintain visual as ground units lost the suspect in a dense congregation of buildings on a construction site. The suspect fled from Little Seoul, west towards the La Puerta Freeway before being apprehended by pursuing units. An arriving unit was quick to adapt and intercept the path of the suspect ultimately bringing the situation to an end. The suspect was charged with several nuisance and general misdemeanors. No damages were present on the vehicles of the employees and the callers as well as the suspect were safe and sound.

    Friday:

    Malicious House Fire - Alta
At around 0900, a concerned resident reported that they saw smoke exiting a residential unit at the complex. With a lack of available Fire Department units, the Los Santos Police Department sent a unit to investigate. The presence of smoke was confirmed and a perimeter was made around the complex to ensure no one placed themselves in immediate danger. The Fire Department was called in and police units on-scene assisted the firefighters as much as they can. Upon entry, it was found that the source of it was chemical by nature, and the firefighters reported a drug operation inside. Detectives from the Gang and Narcotics Division came to investigate further, before dismantling the operation and confiscating the narcotics present. We encourage residents to report any suspicious activity seen in order to protect your local neighborhood.

    Saturday:

    Officers Kidnapped - Bolingbroke Penitentiary
At around 1000, a unit transporting a gang related suspect to Bolingbroke failed to respond to a radio transmission. The unit was unresponsive for a concerning amount of time, and upon investigation they were not found at their cruiser. Units immediately scrambled to locate the missing officer, and with the assistance of the Air Support Division, they were located mobile. The officers in question, a police officer from the Los Santos Police Department as well as a correctional officer from the San Andreas Department of Corrections, were held against their will by members of a violent gang. They did so in an effort to break free a fellow gang member who was being transported. A team was sent to extract the officers, comprised of both the Metropolitan Division as well as LSSD Special Enforcement Detail. Four suspects were arrested on the scene, with both officers saved without harm. Unfortunately, the original suspect managed to evade capture. However, multiple warrants have been issued for their arrest, and they will likely be captured in the near future.
