    Monday:

    Illegal Weapons Confiscated - Alta
At around 0200, a unit performed a traffic stop on a vehicle at Alta St after they were seen speeding in an unsafe degree. They were arrested for Reckless Operation of a Road or Marine Vehicle, and their vehicle was searched. During the search, it was found that the vehicle contained an illegal firearm, specifically an Assault Rifle modified with a suppressor and drum magazine, both of which are illegal attachments. The weapon and attachments were confiscated, and the suspect was brought to the Mission Row precinct for questioning. Following questioning by on-duty detectives at the time, the individual was charged for the weaponry and transported to Bolingbroke to serve their sentence.

Grand Theft Auto - Orchardville Avenue
Following a civilian wave-in in the vicinity of Little Seoul at around 1230, a city-wide BOLO was posted for a stolen vehicle that was allegedly taken from a parking spot in Cypress Flats. A swift response was ensured by Traffic Officers who were in close proximity to the call. The vehicle was quickly located. Shortly after, additional units were called to conduct a 10-66 in order to disallow the suspect from escaping or inflicting harm to themselves or others, and allowing officers to safely recover the stolen vehicle along with the suspect. The felony stop was a success and the suspect was charged with Grand Theft Auto. The vehicle was retrieved safely with all the items inside of it. The vehicle sustained no damages while it was being operated by the suspect and minimal, visual discrepancies on the vehicle lock were covered by the registered owner. The officer who was waved in happened to be in the right place and the right time and managed to retrieve the stolen vehicle in a mere 7 minutes after it was reported stolen during the encounter.

    Tuesday:

High Speed Pursuit - Little Seoul
At 0115, a traffic stop was performed on a Jester Classic in the Little Seoul area following an investigation into the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle identified themselves to the initiating officer, and they were found to be currently wanted. Moreover, they were also found to be driving with a suspended drivers license. Backup was called and they were promptly asked to step out the vehicle. After refusing to do so, the officer escalated force by forcibly opening the door. The suspect began resisting physically, before they turned the engine on and started evading. A high speed pursuit was initiated, and the suspect crashed their vehicle quite severely. Fortunately, they were not critically injured, and after medical treatment was provided, they were able to be charged and were convicted of their crimes.

    Wednesday:

    Officer Under Fire - Scrapyard
At around 1330, suspicious activity was reported at the Los Santos scrapyard. A unit arrived there to investigate, and noticed that a stolen vehicle was currently being dismantled. As they were searching for the suspect, they came across a figure running away, and promptly chased after them. The suspect turned around and began to open fire at the officer, who immediately pulled their service weapon and returned fire. Supporting units rushed to their aid, but the officer was injured quite severely. However, the suspect was soon surrounded and forced to surrender. The officer was given immediate medical attention and transported to Pillbox Medical Center, while the suspect was placed in cuffs and charged with serious felonies for the gross act. The suspect was successfully processed at Bolingbroke, and the stolen vehicle, though damaged, was recovered.

    Thursday:

Suppressed weapon shooting - Integrity Way
At 0355, a distress call was received from a police officer at the Integrity Way apartments. Units were immediately dispatched to assist the officer in distress. Thankfully, the officer who pressed their panic button was able to reach a safe location and explain what had happened; a male individual had been spotted in the area with a modified firearm on their back soon after, and was approached by officers. The suspect panicked and immediately began shooting at the officer, who was forced to retreat. A description was relayed and the backup units went searching for the suspect.

The suspect was found not long after. Unfortunately, the secondary unit that reported sighting the suspect was shot and almost immediately incapacitated. A third unit on scene was able to neutralize the threat. The officer, and the suspect, were given medical attention. Thankfully both of them survived, and the suspect is now behind bars following a conviction on hefty felony charges.

    Friday:

Attempted Bank Robbery - Hawick Avenue
At around 1530, a bank robbery plot was prevented by general patrol units on Hawick Avenue. Following calls of suspicious activity in and around Fleeca on Hawick Avenue, general patrol units were dispatched to investigate. The area was relatively calm with a few vehicles in sight, parked a slight distance from the bank, scouting the area to aid the robbers and inform them of law enforcement presence. Shortly after an officer passed by the doors of the bank it was apparent a heist was in motion, signs of forced entry were visible, the clerks were nowhere to be found and activity was instantly raised as soon as police presence was spotted by the scouting vehicles. Several units locked down the bank. The vault of the bank was not breached and two individuals were arrested in connection with the heist, facing several felony charges. Evidence and information is still being processed to uncover the rest of the assailants that assisted, planned and executed the robbery. No money was missing from the vault, nor was the vault breached. No damages occurred to public property while the bank suffered minimal property damage. If you have any information about the incident, please contact the LSPD Detective Bureau through the crime report portal on the public website.

    Saturday:

Prank Call - El Burro Heights
At around 1630 a prank call was made in the El Burro Heights area regarding an alleged kidnapping. The call originated from the garbage yard located in El Burro Heights. An individual whose description was unknown at the time had allegedly forcefully dragged a male into their garbage truck and took off towards an unknown direction. A response was coordinated between general patrol units and the Detective Bureau, and the caller was located via their phone. The vehicle of interest was pulled over, but attempted to flee when backup units arrived. The pursuit was quickly ended through the use of a Heavy Interception Unit, and both individuals were detained.

After questioning it was evident that the two individuals had made the call as a prank and that the call was indeed a hoax. The abuse of emergency government hotlines is too frequent, and immediate emergency response is misused far too often as the San Andreas State Government continues to improve and clarify current guidelines and penal code sections to tackle the ongoing issue. The two individuals who planned and orchestrated the fake call were both complicit in their actions and were arrested after questioning and further investigation for their tremendous waste of Department resources and time.

Drug Lab Accident - Rockford Hills
At around 2100, witnesses called 911 to report a fire and explosion originating from an apartment in the prestigious Richards Majestic apartment building in the affluent neighborhood of Rockford Hills. LSPD officers closed down the area immediately surrounding the building while first responders of the LSEMS bravely entered the building and cleared the worst of the fire and smoke to allow for the safe entry of officers. After gathering specialized equipment, officers broke into the apartment to clear it for the safety of the first responders, and to allow the first responders entry into locked areas.

Strangely enough, officers discovered security doors and rough fencing throughout the upscale apartment, and were shocked to discover drug manufacturing equipment, which was determined to have caused the fire. The equipment, as well as quantities of marijuana, was removed from the apartment, confiscated, and destroyed. Damage appeared very expensive, but thanks to incredible fortune, was seemingly contained to the private property of the apartment owner, and neither structural damage nor fire appeared to have spread out of the single apartment, which would have caused immeasurable damage for countless innocent civilians. The incredible recklessness and irresponsibility of operating dangerous drug manufacturing equipment is evident here, and serious charges are bound to be pressed following the investigation into the incident.
