Los Santos Police Department Media Relations Division "TO PROTECT AND SERVE" |
- Officers of the LSPD;
On Saturday the 12th of December, at 19:00 UTC, the Christmas Parade is taking place starting at Vinewood Precinct and ending at Mission Row. The various divisions of the LSPD will be on display to show off their work and their vehicles. All of you who wish to represent your division, please communicate with your Commanding Officers to volunteer for the parade, and you will get a spot!
If you are not a member of the division, you may join the parade as a patrol unit if there is a low call volume.
See the route below:
Timetable:
18:00 UTC:
Please try your best to be on shift by this time
18:20 UTC:
Division leaders will start grouping up their members as they see fit, to prepare everything they need for the parade
18:30 UTC:
A pager will be sent out to summon everyone to Vinewood Precinct for the parade. TAC-4 will be opened
18:40 UTC:
As divisions arrive with their officers and vehicles ready, we will start to form a line in the parking bay in front of Vinewood Precinct. The line will loop around the block as necessary
18:50 UTC:
The procession should be set with all units in place. Final checks will begin.
18:55 UTC:
The tailing VTD unit will pull out to block the eastbound lanes of Vinewood Boulevard to allow the parade to begin. Shortly after, the parade will start moving, making a u-turn onto Vinewood Boulevard westbound.
Parade Guidelines:
During the parade, your speed limiter will be set to 50. All units will have lights, but no sirens, activated. You may use your siren occasionally when passing civilians.
VTD will drive ahead of the convoy to clear intersections. Please see the chart below for the order of the parade:
The number of dots does not necessarily correlate with the number of units per division.
Once the parade arrives at Mission Row, the first arriving units will pull around the block to the back to park their vehicles. There will be a short time set aside here for civilians and/or press to ask questions to various divisions if they wish to do so.
We hope to see you in 10 hours!
- Sincerely,
Police Detective III Belle Havana Cavallera
Commanding Officer, Media Relations Division
Los Santos Police Department
