    Monday:

Evading Suspect Takes Hostage - Del Perro Pier
In the dead of night, at 2300, multiple units from both the Los Santos Police Department as well as the Los Santos County Sheriff’s Department were in pursuit of an evading gang-affiliated Rebla GTS. During the pursuit, multiple accomplices attempted to assist the suspect in their escape. A unit came under fire from multiple gang-affiliated vehicles, and all resources were diverted to assist the officer. An LSPD airship attempted to follow the Rebla GTS while ground units diverted. The unit taking fire was unharmed, but the Rebla GTS was lost.

A second pursuit was quickly engaged on an Elegy Retro Custom, which was seen shooting an automatic rifle towards a unit. The pursuit went from Senora Freeway southbound towards the city, taking many roads in the Metro Los Santos area. Lethal force was authorized to stop the vehicle as they had previously been involved directly in a shooting of an officer. Miraculously, the vehicle persisted despite many attempts, and the pursuit lasted a considerable amount of time. The vehicle finally ran out of fuel, and the suspect bailed on foot, managing to put 2 civilians under gunpoint at the Del Perro Pier.

LSPD locked down the area, blocking every possible exit including the water. The suspect itself was neutralized employing a long-range sniper shot, and both civilians were safe and unharmed. After being given medical treatment by the Los Santos Emergency Medical Services, the suspect was transported to Bolingbroke Penitentiary with multiple serious felony charges, as well as numerous other charges.

    Tuesday:

    Bank Robbery - Route 68
An otherwise quiet morning was interrupted by an alarm flood sent from the Fleeca Bank on Route 68. The origin of the alarm was initially unknown, but units responded immediately. After units arrived on the scene, the area was secured and a breach was conducted. Officers and Deputies found an untouched back room and a set of tools allegedly used for the botched heist. No footage or evidence apart from the tools was retrieved as the perpetrators remain free at large. The initial alarm was considered as a diversion for the robbers to maneuver back into the city and execute a heist there, but an organized response deterred all potential robberies in the city of Los Santos. The trend of false alarms continues as the Los Santos Police Department progressively tackles the issue with innovative ideas and tactics.

    Wednesday:

Grand Theft Auto - Downtown Vinewood
At around 1020, an employee of the Downtown Cab Company reported their work vehicle as stolen, having mistakenly left their vehicle unlocked allowing an opportunist carjacker to take advantage. A person relatively well known for vehicular theft was responsible for the act and was tracked down with ease. A felony stop was initiated by patrol units but the driver was not planning on going out easily. The suspect took off from the stop, driving the stolen vehicle around Downtown Vinewood and circling the Los Santos Bank several times before joining the incorrect lane of travel on the Los Santos Freeway. Eventually, patrol units manage to catch up and bring the vehicle to a forceful stop. The suspect bailed on foot and hazardously crossed two lanes of freeway before he was caught by Officers. The suspect faces several felony charges as their motive remains unknown. Fortunately, no injuries or damage occurred during the pursuit. The work vehicle was recovered safely.

    Thursday:

    Drive-by Shooting - Sandy Shores
A pursuit initiated out of city boundaries by the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department turned overwhelmingly scary when affiliated gang members got involved and opened fire towards law enforcement officers, putting them in great danger. The Los Santos Police Department ensured a quick response to assist in the ongoing pursuit as it headed towards city limits. The motives remained unknown as officers coordinated a response. Through extensive communication, a roadblock was placed on the Los Santos Freeway in hopes the vehicle could be brought to a complete stop, or slowed down significantly enough to allow law enforcement officers to bring the vehicle to a forceful stop. Upon reaching the roadblock, the driver swerved to another lane to avoid it and stalled the vehicle. The driver was apprehended immediately. The whereabouts of the passenger were unknown for a brief moment before visual contact was regained and the fate of the second suspect was in the hands of law enforcement officers. Both suspects were apprehended and processed.

    Friday:

    Large Shootout - Chumash Plaza
At 1300, the Los Santos Police Department received a 911 call regarding shots fired at Chumash Plaza. As a unit arrived, the scene was much larger than what was expected, with over a dozen gang-affiliated vehicles, as well as at least 15 individuals on foot. The unit retreated while calling for an immediate response from additional units, as well as the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department. Once adequate units arrived, the scene was secured and the entire southbound direction of Great Ocean Highway were closed down. All the injured individuals on the scene were detained, while most individuals still on foot fled without pursuit. Another individual who was taking items off an injured suspect was also apprehended. In total, 7 suspects were in custody, while unfortunately 2 succumbed to their injuries during treatment. Multiple illegal firearms were seized from the suspects, consisting of .50 Pistols as well as multiple Micro SMGs. The individuals on the scene were charged accordingly for their crimes, while the ones that evaded will be investigated to be apprehended in the future. No officers or civilians were harmed in the incident.

    Gang Violence - Davis Avenue
The ever-growing trend of gang violence and gang influence continues to rise in and around the Grove Street area as it becomes a hotspot for known felons, fugitives, and criminals. The area is known for vehicular theft and chop shop operation making it a point of interest for criminals and heavily contested. A hectic Friday shift took a toll on patrol units when a shots fired call was made in the vicinity of the Davis Mall. The shots were directed towards officers and civilians passing by. Officers returned fire at two gunmen armed with illegal firearms, successfully taking both down. Backup units swiftly secured the area, recovering a stolen vehicle and securing two civilians in the area, ensuring no casualties besides the gunmen. The General Operations Bureau as well as the Investigations Bureau continue to investigate the area and combat the rising gang violence.

    Saturday:

    Code 1 - Legion Square
At 1500 this Friday, an all units required call was made from Legion Square when an officer was fired upon. The officer had inquired a citizen regarding a firearm and requested a license when the suspect began acting unruly, shouting and cussing at the officer and refusing to speak to him. The suspect then drew their firearm and shot the officer 5 times before fleeing the scene, leaving the officer incapacitated. Arriving units tended to the officer immediately as the help of the Los Santos Emergency Services was requested for further medical treatment. An accomplice of the shooter allowed him a safe getaway, speeding down to the streets of Downtown Vinewood. The Investigations Bureau used all disposable assets to trace the assailant to a garage in Vinewood where several units executed a controlled arrest of the suspects. A total of 4 suspects were caught and arrested for several felonies as well as misdemeanor charges, with no further injuries occurring thanks to the professional work of the trained officers. The injured officer is stable and recovering as the shooter along with his accomplices face several years in Bolingbroke Penitentiary.

    Sunday:

    Hit and Run - Alta
During a quiet evening, at 2300, a Traffic Patrol unit from the Traffic Enforcement Division was patrolling the Alta area when a speeding Issi Sport collided with them. The collision was so forceful that the patrol car hit a tree and was flipped upside down, while the speeding vehicle accelerated away from the scene. After the unit was given medical assistance by incoming units, a BOLO was created for the vehicle and a thorough search of the city ensued. Roughly 15 minutes after the original incident, the vehicle was spotted by Legion Square and quickly pulled over. The vehicle, occupied twice, immediately fled the traffic stop and pursuit was called. After evading for nearly an hour, the vehicle eventually stalled underground after entering the subway systems. Both occupants were apprehended and charges were pressed for both the hit and run as well as the evasion charges.
