    Monday:

Felony Stop Shootout - Great Ocean Highway
At around 1400, the Los Santos County Sheriff’s Department requested assistance from the Los Santos Police Department due to a number of violent 911 calls and situations occurring in the county. A unit from the LSPD responded to a 911 call regarding an armed robbery, where they managed to gain a detailed description of the vehicle. The vehicle was later spotted on the Great Ocean Highway, and was pulled over. Upon searching the database, the registered owner of the vehicle was found to be wanted. The traffic stop was escalated into a felony stop, and the occupants were presumed to be armed. Due to a lack of units, the felony stop commenced with only one unit, who had two officers inside at the moment. The driver was asked to step out the vehicle, and as they do with their hands up, they suddenly ran in front of the vehicle away from line of sight. They drew a firearm and started shooting at the unit on scene, but they were quickly neutralized by the armed officers. The passenger was forced out of the vehicle and asked to get on the ground. The passenger then started drawing his own firearm and shooting at the officers. The passenger was also quickly neutralized by the pair. Unfortunately, the passenger did not survive the incident and succumbed to their injuries, while the driver was given medical attention and charged with Attempted Murder on government officials.

    Attempted Suicide - Rockford Plaza
At approximately 2048, a unit from the Los Santos Police Department received a call from a bystander about two civilians desperately needing help as they threatened to jump off the plaza. The responding unit arrived on scene quickly and started to climb all the stairs towards the top. Upon arrival on the roof of Rockford Plaza, the responding unit immediately noticed the ongoing situation and headed towards the two people, cautiously. It was clear that these civilians desperately needed help and engaged in a conversation calmly. After a bit of talking, the responding unit realized that if he was to convince the civilians, he would need to gain their trust. He did so by finding out the personal interests of the civilians and convincing them of the purpose of life. After helping the civilians down, the responding unit made sure these two civilians received their needed psychological help and provided some tips to finding a job.

    Tuesday:

Traffic Stop & Felony Evading - Hawick Avenue
At 1852, a 911 call was made about a recklessly driven white Panto on Hawick Avenue. A nearby unit responded and pulled the white Panto over in a traffic stop. However, the moment the responding officer exited his vehicle, the white Panto took off. A pursuit was quickly set up and additional units responded to the situation. The pursuit moved itself from Hawick Avenue onto Alta Street and eventually towards the Los Santos International Airport where the driver crashed into a building. The driver was arrested and charged with Felony Evading before being escorted to Bolingbroke Penitentiary to serve a lengthy sentence.

    Wednesday:

Marine Chase - Del Perro Pier and Beach
Approximately between 1330 and 1400, officers were in pursuit of an indecently clad male. Officers persevered in chasing the suspect as he swam in circles under the far side of Del Perro Pier. A marine unit was deployed to assist, whereby after a long strenuous swim, the officer in pursuit took rest on the Marine Unit, while other officers dived into the water to catch the suspect. The suspect was eventually caught and dragged on board the marine unit. The suspect was taken into custody where he was then sentence to serve felony charges in Bolingbroke Penitentiary. The first responding officer was assisted by other officers on scene, made a speedy recovery, and fortunately did not end up sick. That officer resumed his duties immediately after drying himself up to once again serve the community.

    Thursday:

    Unroadworthy Vehicle - Pillbox Hill
At approximately 1650, a unit at the Vespucci Precinct noticed a white sports car with red headlights passing the station. The unit pulled out of the station and followed the vehicle, which had increased its speed. The unit initiated their lights and sped up to catch up to the vehicle. The vehicle pulled over and the officer made contact with the driver. The driver claimed to be unaware that it was illegal to have red headlamps and offered to have it fixed promptly. The driver was issued a $500 citation for VC11 - Unroadworthy Vehicle and was warned to get the modification changed before receiving a demerit. It is always the responsibility of the individual to ensure that they are aware of the laws and that their actions are illegal prior to acting.

    Unroadworthy Vehicle - Mirror Park
At 1730, a pink Prairie stopped in the travel lanes of Popular Street in East Vinewood caught the eyes of a patrol unit. The unit pulled out as the vehicle began moving once again, accelerating to excessive speeds. The number plate reader flagged the license plate on the vehicle, and the unit initiated a traffic stop. The driver pulled to the side of the road, and upon investigating the red flag, the officer found no matching DMV records for the registration number. The officer requested an additional unit at that time and then made contact with the driver. The driver provided their information but failed to provide paperwork for the vehicle, confessing that it had been purchased illegally at the scrapyard. The driver was detained while the vehicle was searched, confiscated, and towed to the LSPD vehicle impound in Strawberry. The driver was compliant, and was issued a citation for VC11 - Unroadworthy Vehicle and released on the spot.

    Friday:

Pursuit Ended with Lethal Force - Senora Freeway
At roughly 1300, a unit from the Los Santos Police Department noticed a Comet Retro Custom driving at speeds exceeding 200km/h past a speed trap in the city. The unit quickly caught up and attempted a traffic stop, but the vehicle evaded. The units responding were only barely able to keep up, utilizing good communication to always be one step ahead of the vehicle. This was maintained until the Air Support Division were able to deploy an airship to assist with the pursuit. The pursuit lasted nearly an hour, with the driver taking multiple loops past the Del Perro Freeway, Great Ocean Highway, and Route 68. A member of the Los Santos Police Department High Command noticed the pursuit that lasted much too long, with the driver endangering the public at this point. It was then decided that lethal force would be authorized to forcibly halt the vehicle. Several warnings were already given to the driver when their vehicle tires were shot out. Tires were successfully punctured, causing the driver to lose control and crash the vehicle. The driver was given the appropriate charges and processed at Bolingbroke Penitentiary.

Store Robbery & Felony Evading - Chumash
At 2227, units received a 911 call about a store robbery happening on the southern side of Chumash. Fortunately, two units were close-by and responded very fast. Upon arrival, a unit saw a black Elegy Retro Custom leave the scene. A pursuit was quickly set up when the vehicle attempted to flee from the scene, with more units assisting in the pursuit. After a small pursuit that went from the Chumash area towards Route 68 and finally down Vinewood Hills, the suspect lost control of his vehicle and stalled on a pole. The driver was apprehended shortly afterwards and was escorted to Bolingbroke Penitentiary to serve a lengthy sentence. We are glad to inform the shopkeeper is doing alright, albeit a bit shocked from the incident.

    Saturday:

Grand Theft Auto & Felony Evading - Route 68
At 2058, a civilian had his car, a green Rancher XL, stolen on the Los Santos Pier. A nearby unit of the Los Santos Police Department reacted both quickly and adequately. A pursuit was quickly set up, with multiple officers arriving as backup. The pursuit went from the Los Santos Pier to the Great Ocean Highway, passing Chumash and heading down Route 68 afterwards. There, the suspect attempted to evade from our officers by going off-road. Fortunately, units were able to keep up while driving off-road and stayed with the suspect. The suspect eventually stalled the vehicle landing too hard into a small hill. The suspect was apprehended, arrested and escorted to Bolingbroke for a lengthy sentence. The vehicle was returned to the driver.

    Sunday:

Hostage Situation After Shootout - Grapeseed
At 1500, the Los Santos County Sheriff’s Department requested assistance from the Los Santos Police Department after a reported shootout between two groups occurred at Grapeseed involving automatic weaponry. As units from both agencies arrive, multiple bodies and abandoned vehicles were seen. The scene consisted of a relatively open field with a farmhouse in the middle. The house itself was believed to still contain hostile individuals, and both exits were covered by units. Once a perimeter was setup, three units breached the building all armed with heavy weapons. They entered the building and began clearing the rooms. As an officer approached the stairwell, two shots, assumed to be from a Remington, were fired, striking the officer who had to be taken outside the building to be given medical assistance. Other units received minor injuries from the initial wave of fire.

The hostile individuals within the basement claimed they had a hostage, and sent a picture proving so. It was believed to have been 2 hostage takers, with 3 hostages. During the situation, one of the hostages was already bleeding out, while the other two were well. The hostage takers shot one of the hostages during negotiation, and they were allowed to leave the building with one of the hostages. They demanded vehicles, which were provided for the sake of the hostage, and then fled the situation while 1 hostage remained safe. However, it was later found that the hostage rescued was an accomplice, and the real hostages had all been executed in the basement. While unfortunate that the individuals had escaped, the accomplice was kept in custody and later charged for their assistance in the crime. An ongoing investigation remains for the criminals still at large. All remaining people including all officers have recovered.
