The Firearms Licensing Division (FLD) of the Los Santos Police Department handles all personal firearms licenses in San Andreas. Obtaining a firearms license through the FLD provides the only legal way to obtain firearms in San Andreas. In April of this year, the FLD rolled out Form B that allows individuals previously convicted of certain misdemeanors and felonies to apply for a personal firearms license following a year ((3 months)) without certain convictions, provided their case meets certain conditions. You can learn more about Form B by clicking here.

This month, the FLD would like to announce Form C. Form C allows individuals disqualified from applying via Form B to apply following a 6 year ((18 month)) period without disqualifying convictions, provided certain conditions are met. With the release of Form C, the only charge that permanently bars an individual from obtaining a personal firearms license at any point in the future is SF-01 - Domestic Terrorism.

" This FORM C should give reformed civilians a chance to show that they have changed and continue to be staples within our community. They will have a way to protect themselves from the dangerous streets. This is not a way to arm dangerous criminals and people given a license under FORM C will be heavily scrutinised and be subject to random checks from police. "

  • - Police Captain Cynthia Shelby, Commanding Officer of the Firearms Licensing Division

To ensure that this second chance is not abused, personal firearms licenses obtained through Form C come with certain restrictions and conditions. These conditions include, but are not limited to, being subjected to random stop and searches and random visitations at the license holder's properties. Failure to adhere to personal firearms permit regulations can result in immediate revocation of the license.
