SUPERVISOR OF THE MONTH, JUNE 2019

Each month, ONE supervisor is selected by Command to receive this most prestigious award and recognition of becoming the supervisor of the month. This award is an overall congratulation for selfless commitment, achievement, and excellence in their supervisory duties of the department. A supervisor who achieves the 'Supervisor of the Month' award is an exemplary member of the department's supervisory team and someone who should be looked up to as an inspiration and role-model.
-This month, we would like to recognize the astonishing work effort, dedication and passion that Police Sergeant II Cynthia Shelby has shown. Sergeant Shelby was previously selected by Command as Supervisor of the Month for February 2019 and is selected again for the month of June, due to her hard work and dedication to the department. The employees of the Los Santos Police Department would also like to express their gratitude to Sergeant Shelby for being a fair and humble supervisor. Since Sergeant Shelby was last selected to be the Supervisor of the Month, she has risen up in quite a few divisions, recently selected as the Commanding Officer of the Firearms and Licensing division, Assistant Commanding Officer of the Recruitment division and Internal Affairs Supervisor. It is safe to say, without Sergeant Shelby, we would not be at where we are today without her wholeheartedly dedication to the department.
In addition to being the Commanding Officer of the Air Support Division, Commanding Officer of the Firearms and Licensing Division, Assistant Commanding Officer of the Recruitment and Employment Division, Assistant Watch Commander of the Vespucci Precinct, Internal Affairs Supervisor, SWAT Senior Operative and the Head Instructor of the Basic Training Division, Sergeant Shelby also dedicates time and puts in extraordinary effort into her duties as a Field Training Officer and to leading our weekly meetings for Supervisors. Sergeant Shelby is definitely a role model to look up to and follow in her footsteps, without her the Department would not function as smooth as it is today.
Sergeant Cynthia Shelby graduated from the Los Santos Police Academy on September 15th and her Field Training Program on September 25th. Sergeant Shelby raced through the ranks through hard work and impeccable performance, her ambition, and passion for her duties was extraordinary good. Sergeant Shelby joined the Sergeant Training Program on December 12th and passed the program with flying colors on January 14th. Sergeant Shelby was later promoted to Police Sergeant II on the 4th of April, 2019.
Sergeant Cynthia Shelby will be rewarded with a bonus payment of $1,000.00 (( $100,000.00 )).
