OFFICER OF THE MONTH, MAY 2019

    -
Each month, ONE officer is selected by Command to receive this most prestigious award. This award is an overall congratulation for universal commitment, achievement, and excellence throughout the department. An officer who achieves the 'Officer of the Month' award is an exemplary member of the department and someone who should be looked up to as an inspiration and role-model.

This month, we would like to recognize the astonishing work effort, dedication, and passion that Police Officer Kristofer Avens has shown. In the month of May, Officer Avens has logged approximately 210 shift hours, approximately 65 of them being Air Support Hours, and in addition to his extreme dedication in the field, we would also like to recognize Officer Aven's dedication to immaculate paperwork as well, which goes to show that Officer Avens is an exemplary officer and through his effort, he sets a precedent. We would also like to recognize the extreme dedication that Officer Avens shows in our Air Support Division. Through his effort in the helicopter, he has saved countless lives and prevented countless violent crimes, and his passion for flying and providing aerial cover for his colleagues on the ground hasn't gone unnoticed. Officer Kristofer Avens currently serves as a Patrol Officer and Field Training Officer of Mission Row, a precinct where he sets a good precedent of proper police work.

We would also like to wish Officer Kristofer Avens best of luck as he's currently trying to qualify for the Sergeant Training Program, if accepted, he will be training towards potentially becoming a supervisor of the Los Santos Police Department.

Officer Kristofer Avens graduated from the Los Santos Police Academy on February 18th, 2019 and he graduated from our Field Training Program on Mar 4th, 2019. Through hard work and dedication, he has risen through the hierarchy.

Officer Kristofer Avens will be rewarded with a bonus payment of $1,000.00 (( $100,000.00 )).
