    Monday:

    Felony Evading - Pillbox Hill
At around 2000 a unit radioed for assistance in attempting to pull over a white Sultan Classic speeding through the dense streets of Downtown. The unit was struggling to catch up with the vehicle as it passed by an idle motorcycle unit. Thanks to its agility, the motorcycle unit was able to catch up to the vehicle quickly and called in a pursuit as it became apparent that the vehicle was not planning on stopping. After sticking to the vehicle for several blocks, the motorcycle unit yielded to an interceptor unit as it prepared to perform a pursuit intervention technique. The driver of the vehicle lost control on their own prior to any intervention from the interceptor, striking a heavy pole and spinning the vehicle. The vehicle was quickly surrounded and the driver complied with the arrest and is now serving time at Bolingbroke. Despite the heavy collision, no injuries were sustained, making this another success story for the LSPD demonstrating the power of communication and the radio.

    Tuesday:

    Grand Theft Auto - Alta
The Vinewood Traffic Division hosted another successful operation during the afternoon. Through excellent teamwork and driving skill, Traffic Officers pursued 4 car thieves, leading to their arrests without injury or damage to property. 2 of the thieves pulled over and cooperated with police, while 2 others evaded, eventually losing control of their vehicles. All 4 were successfully processed at Bolingbroke Penitentiary. The Vinewood Traffic Division continues to host frequent operations to rid the streets of carjackers, dangerous drivers, and wanted criminals for a safer Los Santos.

    Wednesday:

Officer at Gunpoint - Rockford Hills
At 0155, the LSPD received a panic alarm from an on-duty officer. As units rushed to the location of the alarm, the officer announces over the radio that they have been placed into a trunk at gunpoint. Fortunately, the officer kept calm and was able to relay a description of the suspect and their vehicle. A flying airship from the Air Support Division saw a vehicle matching the description, and immediately announced it to the ground units. The vehicle attempted to hide in an alleyway, little did they know that all the exits had been blocked off. As the suspect attempted to make a break for it, they withdrew their firearm at an officer, but was quickly neutralized by means of lethal force. They were given medical attention and later placed under arrest for their crimes, before being transported to Bolingbroke Penitentiary.

Traffic Checkpoint - San Andreas Avenue
During the afternoon, a Traffic Checkpoint was conducted outside of Vespucci Precinct on the crossing between Vespucci Boulevard and San Andreas Avenue. Speed traps were set up east and west from the checkpoint - documenting any people speeding/violating traffic laws on their way towards the checkpoint. A total of three arrests were made, 2 being from outstanding warrants and one coming from a pursuit initiated by units at the traffic checkpoint. A total of three drivers/vehicles were clocked by Traffic Officers outside of the checkpoint and were each issued a citation, and a verbal warning for traffic misconduct. A total of 21 documented individuals were let through the checkpoint after being checked by officers present on the scene. 24 documented vehicles have come in and out of the checkpoint, 3 being impounded and 21 let through. The operation was deemed a success and will set a standard for future operations of similar nature. The Vinewood Traffic Division is looking into new, innovative ways to suppress reckless vehicle operation, DUI as well as recover stolen vehicles/property.

    Thursday:

    Motorcycle Pursuit - Alta
At 0255, a traffic unit from the Vinewood Traffic Division noticed a white motorcycle speeding down a public road. The vehicle was attempted to be pulled over, but they started evading the unit. A pursuit was engaged on the motorcycle, involving an airship from the Air Support Division, as well as a Motorcycle Response Unit that was deployed. The motorcycle decided to recklessly start driving on to the train tracks and into the metro tunnel. Without being on the surface, the airship was unable to assist with much. Units immediately started blocking off all exits from the tunnel systems. However, the motorcycle managed to evade arrest and was not seen again. A BOLO was created for the motorcycle and all units were on the lookout for it.

    Saturday:

    Kidnapping - Mirror Park Blvd.
At 1045, the LSPD received a 911 Call regarding a potential kidnapping. Uniformed officers were able to trace the 911 call back to a black Raiden parked at the Mirror Park Gas Station. Officers spotted the vehicle with two occupants, including the driver, idle at the gas pumps. The driver of the vehicle spotted the Officers as they began to move in to try and box him in, causing a brief pursuit to occur. As the pursuit continued southbound on Mirror Park Blvd, the suspect's vehicle collided with another individual's vehicle, causing the suspect's vehicle to stall, and the suspect to sustain critical injuries. Fortunately, the driver of the vehicle he collided with was not injured, and officers were able to safely extract the kidnap victim, as well as the suspect from the totaled Raiden. The victim was assessed by medical personnel, and then met with officers at Mission Row to discuss what happened. The suspect was transported to Central Los Santos Hospital and later transferred to the Department of Corrections.

    Sunday:

    Police Impersonators - Vinewood Hills
Around 0930, the LSPD received reports from multiple concerned citizens of a vehicle containing individuals impersonating police officers. The vehicle in question was a black Stanier, similar looking to unmarked police units. The vehicle was spotted at the Del Perro Pier after a citizen called it in, and was promptly pulled over. They decided to evade from the stop, and a pursuit was started. The vehicle continuously endangered other motorists by driving extremely recklessly on the road. A PIT maneuver was done on the vehicle, but it failed to stop them. The vehicle evaded by going offroad in the Vinewood Hills area, where officers were unable to safely follow the vehicle. A BOLO was created.

Fortunately, the vehicle was later located by another unit, which initiated a felony stop. With enough units present, the suspects complied, and all the individuals were successfully placed under arrest.
