    Monday:

    Impersonating Government Officials - Vinewood
On a relatively quiet day, a Sultan RS was raging through the city with multiple cruisers from both the Los Santos Police Department as well as the Los Santos County Sheriff’s Department following after. Once the Sultan RS collided their vehicle, the driver was apprehended and the scene was secured. During the situation, a black vehicle approaches and from within two individuals in black suits step out. These individuals showed what appeared to be badges claiming they were from the FIB, and acted as such, breaking the perimeter and entered the scene. While initially leaving units on the scene scratching their heads, it didn’t take long for units to realize that they were impersonating. The impersonating individuals attempted to convince units to release the suspect, until a Police Detective noticed the commotion. The individuals were detained and questioned briefly by actual members of the Investigations Bureau, before they were arrested for their actions.

Grand Theft Auto - Metro Los Santos
In the evening hours, the Investigations Bureau and Traffic Enforcement Division hosted a joint bait car operation in various locations. The bait car was stolen on 5 occasions through the few hours of the operation. One suspect stopped the vehicle immediately and surrendered peacefully upon being lit up, and was given the minimal charge of Grand Theft Auto. Another suspect attempted to evade, but lost control of the vehicle within 30 seconds, disabling the vehicle in a pole and subsequently surrendering. Two suspects evaded police for several minutes, driving at dangerous speeds through the city prior to losing control of the vehicles, leading to successful arrests without further incident and several felony charges. One suspect escaped police by ditching the car for a motorcycle and driving through the subway tunnels and stations where it was too dangerous to pursue. The suspect was positively identified and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

The operation was an overall success with four thieves taken off the streets of Los Santos and one active warrant. The locations chosen are places known to be plagued by auto theft problems. The operations are conducted to discourage this by guaranteeing that thieves will be arrested, sometimes through a warrant hunt but usually immediately. By setting up the bait car in controlled circumstances, all the cards are in the favor of the Police when thieves strike.

    Tuesday:

    Obstruction of Justice - Chumash
During early morning, the Police Detectives from the Los Santos Police Department’s Investigations Bureau were attempting to apprehend a high-risk fugitive. The suspect attempted to flee using a Shitzu Hakuchou super-bike. Knowing this, the Police Detectives had already stationed similar vehicles in close proximity in order to initiate a pursuit. Once a pursuit was engaged, several other marked units joined the pursuit and attempted to apprehend the now evading suspect. During the pursuit, there was a brief moment where visual contact of the suspect was lost, during which time the suspected fugitive traded clothing with an accomplice, who took the vehicle and baited the pursuit elsewhere. Units on the pursuit regained visual of who they thought was the original suspect, and continued the pursuit. However, the suspect pulls over nearby Chumash and surrenders themselves to the units on-scene. Upon further inspection, it was discovered that they had switched places during the pursuit, and the fugitive remains at large. The arrested suspect faces time at Bolingbroke with charges of Felony Evasion and Obstruction of Justice, as well as accessory to other crimes for their conspiracy with the fugitive.

    Wednesday:

    Felony Stop - Vespucci Boulevard
At around 1100, a police officer from the Los Santos Police Department received several major injuries as a result of a collision with a speeding vehicle. The vehicle in question then fled from the scene without offering the injured officer any medical attention. Thankfully, the officer’s partner was relatively unharmed during the accident and was able to provide medical attention and submit a BOLO for the vehicle. Later that day at 1200, a vehicle matching the BOLO was spotted and a traffic stop was conducted. Once the details were referenced with the BOLO and confirmed to be the same vehicle, the traffic stop was escalated to a felony stop. A total of 4 cruisers were present for the felony stop and the driver was issued demands to throw their keys out of the window. Officers stepped out their vehicle and drew their firearms while taking cover behind their cruiser doors. The driver was armed with a blade, which was removed from their person before they were placed in cuffs. A similar procedure was conducted on the passenger. Their vehicle was searched and the driver was arrested for Felony Hit and Run on a Government Employee, while the passenger was searched and released.

    Felony Evading - Hawick Avenue
At around 21:30 a light blue Drift Tampa was stolen near the clothing shop on Hawick Avenue. Luckily, a unit from the Los Santos Police Department gained visual of the vehicle with the suspect in it quick, called for a few units as backup and started to safely pursue the vehicle. After a short pursuit through Los Santos and onto Los Santos Freeway, the suspect was brought to a stop and was apprehended and arrested. The suspect was searched and transported to the Department of Corrections at Bolingbroke for processing on felony charges of Grand Theft Auto and Evading. The vehicle was returned to its owner.

    Thursday:

Armed Robbery turned Shootout - Chumash General Store
A few hours past dawn at around 0800, a unit from the Los Santos Police Department noticed suspicious activity while monitoring one of the live CCTV feeds. It seems that a store was currently being held up at Chumash by 2 individuals, with at least one of them being armed. The store itself had not sent a distress message, and it was up to the unit to relay the information. Additional units were dispatched to the store, and it did not take long for the store robbers to realize police had arrived. Demands were given for the individual to step outside the store with their hands in the air. However, the demands were met by gunfire, and the units on scene returned fire. A brief shootout occurred at the store, before a ceasefire was called. The robbers attempted to negotiate their way out of the situation, but quickly realized they did not have any leverage and surrendered. It was found that they had run out of ammunition in the gunfight, which lead to their decision to surrender. Both individuals were arrested for Attempted Murder of Government Employees, Armed Robbery, and other charges, and faced some injuries from the gunfight. No officers reported injuries. The stolen money was confiscated.

    Friday:

Heavy Interceptor Pursuit - Del Perro Pier
At roughly 2000, a unit from the Los Santos Police Department was attempting to conduct a routine traffic stop on a speeding vehicle. As the vehicle was asked to move out of the Del Perro Pier for the traffic stop, a large truck attempted to block the cruiser from following and repeatedly rammed the unit. The truck itself was pulled over, and the driver was asked to step out their vehicle. The truck driver proceeded to evade the police, attempting to flee while recklessly operating their large vehicle through the city. Because of this, a Heavy Interceptor Unit was deployed from the LSPD. Several warnings were issued to the driver. Once the pursuit had reached the highway and the driver showed no signs of surrendering, a PIT maneuver was done on the vehicle, resulting in them crashing. The driver was given medical attention and arrested on scene, and later transported to Bolingbroke Penitentiary.

    Saturday:

Midnight Dinghy Pursuit - Vespucci Beach
In the dead of night, the Los Santos Police Department received a 911 call from the Del Perro Pier regarding a shooting. Units arrived there and notice a suspicious vehicle, and proceed to pull them over. During the traffic stop, the vehicle fled and a high-speed pursuit commenced. The Los Santos County Sheriff's Department lent a helping hand by deploying their ALPHA Air Support unit. The pursuit was successful and the units were able to keep up with the relatively fast sports car. All of the sudden the two occupants jumped out their vehicle and attempted to make a run for a boat. One of the suspects were tazed off their feet and was caught, while the other suspect managed to reach the boat. LSPD officers deployed their marine units and initiated a marine pursuit in the dark. With the help of the ALPHA airship's high-intensity spotlight, the boats were able to keep up and eventually the suspect surrendered roughly 10 kilometers out into the ocean. The suspect was brought back to shore using a police boat and was transported to Bolingbroke on felony charges.

    Sunday:

Felony Hit and Run - Del Perro
During a routine traffic stop in the vicinity of the Del Perro Pier a citation turned into a felony pursuit. General patrol units were conducting a traffic stop during which an unknown individual at the time operating a heavy transport truck interfered by ramming patrol units on two occasions, trying to hit officers on foot. The assailant continued south towards Vespucci after managing to inflict notable damage to police and civilian vehicles, leading patrol units on a chase. The driver of the truck continued to evade to the general area of Little Seoul where they crashed. Upon exiting their vehicle, they resisted arrest by shoving officers away as they approached him. The suspect was finally apprehended after backup arrived, overcoming the overwhelming physical resistance the suspect was putting up. Officers and civilians on the initial scene fortunately sustained no injuries, and the driver was arrested on felony charges and transported to Bolingbroke.
