OFFICER OF THE MONTH, OCTOBER 2018

Each month, ONE officer is selected by Command to receive this most prestigious award. This award is an overall congratulation for universal commitment, achievement, and excellence throughout the department. An officer who achieves the 'Officer of the Month' award is an exemplary member of the department and someone who should be looked up to as an inspiration and role-model.
-This month, we would like to recognize the astonishing work effort, dedication, and passion that Police Officer Cynthia Shelby has shown. In the month of October alone, Officer Shelby has accumulated 323 Shift Hours, working both day and night shifts, as well as for racking in over 200 optional reports within the department. We would also like to recognize her passion towards training newer officers, acting as a role model whenever and wherever she can.
Officer Shelby's passion towards police work and dedication towards the department is extraordinary, it makes her a role model and example of a perfect Police Officer in the Los Santos Police Department. Officer Shelby's effort and dedication was also recognized earlier this month when she was commended for it. It's no secret that her efforts have impressed her superior officers and leaders of the department, she inspires her colleagues and drives them to go to greater lengths.
Officer Cynthia Shelby graduated from the Los Santos Police Academy on September 15, 2018, and graduated from the Field Training Program on September 21, 2018. Through her effort and dedication, Officer Shelby raced through the ranks and currently serves as a Police Officer II, Patrol Officer in our West Bureau assigned to Vespucci Precinct.
Officer Shelby will be rewarded with a bonus payment of $1,000.00 (( $100,000.00 )).
