HONORABLE MENTIONS
We will no longer announce honorable mentions, there's a vast majority of you that goes above and beyond in the line of duty, whether it's in the field or with paperwork. We've instead created a program internally in the Supervisor Patrol Division where supervisors can request commendation notices for individual officers that perform above and beyond at an extraordinary level, which will then be announced to the public and the Department.
Do you want to become the next Officer of the Month?
Everyone below the rank of the Sergeant I can qualify to become the Officer of the Month. Multiple factors will decide if you qualify for the award.-- In general, we look for officers that go above and beyond in their assigned duties, take responsibility and take charge of your duties, show initiative and demonstrate extraordinary performance. Those are some of the key factors that we look for if you can accomplish that, perhaps you can become the next Officer of the Month.
