Each month, ONE officer is selected by Command to receive this most prestigious award. This award is an overall congratulation for universal commitment, achievement, and excellence throughout the department. An officer who achieves the 'Officer of the Month' award is an exemplary member of the department and someone who should be looked up to as an inspiration and role-model.

We would like to recognize Officer Shelby's tremendous effort with paperwork and with general duties throughout the month of July. Officer Shelby has demonstrated skills of an exceptional officer not only in the field but also with paperwork such as arrest reports and duty reports. Officer Shelby has proven himself to be a fast learner, fast thinker and a very proactive person in the field. We would like Officer Shelby to continue his work in the department and to advance into the Field Training Program in the foreseeable future.
Officer Shelby will be rewarded with a bonus payment of $1,000.00 (( $100,000.00 )).

We would also like to recognize his persistent shift activity in the month of July, logging a total of 289 hours.
