Each month, ONE officer is selected by Command to receive this most prestigious award. This award is an overall congratulation for universal commitment, achievement, and excellence throughout the department. An officer who achieves the 'Officer of the Month' award is an exemplary member of the department and someone who should be looked up to as an inspiration and role-model.
- This month, we would like to congratulate Stephen Winfield on becoming the Officer of the Month for May 2018. Officer Winfield reinstated to the Los Santos Police Department on April 16th, 2018, but was originally employed on January 12th, 2018. He has since his reinstatement, demonstrated continued astonishing conduct in the field, both during field training sessions and as a regular patrol officer. He serves our community with dignity and respect and he always demonstrates the utmost professionalism towards civilians and colleagues.
He's also an exemplary field training officer who goes above and beyond to make sure that Police Cadets receive the training that they need to become a Police Officer.
Officer Winfield will be rewarded with a bonus payment of $1,000.00 (( $100,000.00 )).
Do you want to become the next Officer of the Month?
Everyone below the rank of the Sergeant I can qualify to become the Officer of the Month. Multiple factors will decide if you qualify for the award.-- In general, we look for officers that go above and beyond in their assigned duties, take responsibility and take charge of your duties, show initiative and demonstrate extraordinary performance. Those are some of the key factors that we look for if you can accomplish that, perhaps you can become the next Officer of the Month.
