Each month, ONE officer is selected by Command to receive this most prestigious award. This award is an overall congratulation for universal commitment, achievement, and excellence throughout the department. An officer who achieves the 'Officer of the Month' award is an exemplary member of the department and someone who should be looked up to as an inspiration and role-model.
-This month, we would like to recognize the astonishing work effort, dedication, and passion that Police Officer Ollie Higgins has shown. In the month of April, Officer Higgins has logged roughly 200 shift hours which is an extraordinary number for one officer to achieve alone. Officer Higgins has demonstrated extreme dedication in his role and continues to be one of the most valuable officers within the Vespucci Precinct. His continued efforts on the field and over 80 of his arrests in the month of April, his efforts have not gone unnoticed by supervisors and fellow officers alike. Officer Higgins is an example of hard work and dedication to the cause, upholding the oath he swore with an unrivaled pride and sense of justice. We would like to highlight Officer Higgins' extraordinary dedication to paperwork as well, with more than 490 pieces of paperwork filed in the month of April alone, which is the highest number of paperwork we have seen from a single Police Officer in a single month, which goes to prove Officer Higgins dedication and ambition, and being an exemplary role model to all of his fellow Patrol Officers.
Officer Ollie Higgins graduated from the Los Santos Police Academy on March 15th, 2019 and he graduated from our Field Training Program on March 25th, 2019. Since then, Officer Higgins has shown the ability to adapt and be a quick learner, and he has through hard work, effort, and great ambition, proved himself to be an exemplary officer. We wish Officer Higgins nothing but the best moving forward and hope that he will continue demonstrating the same level of effort to the Department and his work.
Officer Ollie Higgins will be rewarded with a bonus payment of $1,000.00 (( $100,000.00 )).
