LSPD Awards for Bravery

- The Chief's Distinguished Skill and Service Award highest form of honor and recognition that can be bestowed upon an officer of the Los Santos Police Department. Awarded only by the Chief of Police, this award is bestowed upon Officers who were deemed to have demonstrated extraordinary bravery or heroism in the field, or extraordinary skill in individual acts.

- The Los Santos Police Department's Medal of Valor is the highest law enforcement medal awarded to officers by the Los Santos Police Department. The Medal of Valor is an award for bravery, usually awarded to officers for individual acts of extraordinary bravery or heroism performed in the line of duty at extreme and life-threatening personal risk.

- The Liberty Award is a bravery medal where the police partner was killed and he was seriously injured in the line of duty.

LSPD Awards for Service

- The Los Santos Police Command Distinguished Service Medal is bestowed upon command team members for continual determination and success after serving in the command team for a prolonged period of time.

- The Distinguished Service Medal is bestowed upon Officers who distinguish themselves by exceptionally meritorious service to the City of Los Santos in a duty of great responsibility. To justify this decoration, exceptional performance of duty must be clearly above what is normally expected and contributes to the success of a major command or project.

- The Meritorious Service Medal is bestowed upon Officers who have performed noteworthy service in any capacity with the Los Santos Police Department. Qualifying service for the award of the medal can be for distinctive meritorious achievement and service, acts of courage involving no voluntary risk of life, or sustained meritorious performance of duty.

- The Meritorious Leadership Medal is bestowed upon Officers who have performed noteworthy service in any capacity with the Los Santos Police Department in the leadership of other Los Santos Police Officers. Meritorious service or achievement in either dangerous & stressful field situations or administrative non-field situations based on sustained performance or specific achievement of a superlative nature.

- The Community Policing Medal is bestowed upon Officers who continuously show "honorable and faithful service" to the City of Los Santos. Such service implies the officer distinguishes himself/herself from among his/her fellow officers by their exemplary conduct, efficiency, and fidelity.

- The Los Santos Police Public Service Medal is bestowed upon Officers that perform a great public service.

- The Purple Heart is awarded to members of the department who are significantly injured or killed on duty.

- The Officer of the Month Award is bestowed upon an exemplary Officer selected by the Police Supervisors and Command Staff of the Los Santos Police Department each month.

- The Supervisor of the Month Award is bestowed upon an exemplary Supervisor selected by the Police Officers and Command Staff of the Los Santos Police Department periodically.

- Awarded to those who have become a Staff Officer in the Los Santos Police Department.

- The Government Award of Excellence is the highest form of recognition awarded to officials by a Director of the San Andreas State Government. This award is given to officials who have demonstrated great dedication and effort to their bureau(s) and have gone above and beyond their duties and tasks. This award may also be granted to civilian or law enforcement individuals by a member of the Board of Governors.
